A sweat dropped from Karina's head even though she did not tell the whole truth. She was hoping her parents wouldn't catch on that she went outside on her own again.
"Where did you see him?" Yuuki asked in shock.
"You.. Didn't go outside on your own again did you?" Kaname her father said in a calm voice.
"N-no I didn't" Karina denied trying now to look suspicious. "I saw him when we were walking around town once and of course at that time I didn't think much of it." Karina lied.
Her parents looked at each other and looked as if they were talking to each other with their connected sibling minds. Karina rushed back upstairs because she didn't want to deal with the tension in the room any longer.
"If they find out they'll totally flip out at me and sacrifice me to my father..." Karina worriedly thought.
Karina went to her window and opened the curtains, there seemed to be a note on the other side of her window and it read.
"Meet me at the carved tree at 9:00 p.m."
Karina was socked to see this and quickly opened her window and took it off so her parents wouldn't see it. Karina laid down on her bed with the note in hand thinking about if she should go or now and if she did decide to go how would she get past her parents. Karina heard a knock on her door and quickly hid the paper under her pillow.
"Come in" Karina called.
It was her mother Yuuki.
"Hey honey can we talk?" Her mother said in a serious tone.
"Sure" Karina answered.
Her mother sat on her bed next to her.
Yuuki looked Karina straight in the eyes and said "So about the guy at your window........."
