After Karina had calmed down a bit more she realized she has a cut on her face she has never noticed before. She recalled while running away from the shadowy figure through the woods she felt a slight pinch on her face but didn't get the time to think about it at that moment. As it became midnight she heard the front door open. Karina flinched as the thought the shadow man was still after her but it was just her parents. Without thinking she rushed downstairs to go tell her parents but right before she opened her mouth Karina realized that if she told her parents she would be in big big trouble. Karina decided not to tell them but her parents still has a worried reaction upon seeing her.
"OH MY GOSH KARINA WHAT HAPPENED!" Her mother Yuuki said worryingly while checking out the cut on Karina.
Soon after that her father Kaname saw and was as worried as his wife Yuuki.
"It's nothing I just scratched my face too hard" Karina said as she looked away.
"You didn't happen to go outside right" Her mother said as she had a stern face.
"No I didn't" Karina lied as her heart was beating.
"Well you should go get ready for bed sweetheart" Her father said to break the tension in the room.
Karina hugged her parents and ran upstairs to take a shower. As Karina was washing her hair she was reflecting on the situation she was in.
"What do I do..." Karina thought in her head.
