I played with my fingers when I heard someone knocked on my door. I fixed my hair and walked towards the door to open it. When I opened the door, my heart stopped beating when I saw Cadmus outside my door.

My heart is beating not because of him but because of nervousness. Ang akala ko kasi ay si Messiah ang magdadala ng pagkain dito.

Cadmus smirked when he saw how nervous I am. "The infamous Shivani Nimevas is nervous."

I rolled my eyes. "Tss, akin na!" Ani ko at kinuha ang paper bag na nasa kanyang kamay. "Umalis ka na," ani ko at akmang isasara ang pintuan ng harangan n'ya iyon.

"Nah-uh," he said. "Pagkatapos kong magdeliver nito ngayong madaling araw, papa-alisin mo lang ako? Asan ang tip ko, Miss?"

I frowned and took the one thousand on my hoodie's pocket, and gave it to him. "Alis na!" Ani ko at sinarado na ang pintuan.

Narinig ko pa ang tawa n'ya. "Sisiguraduhin kong matatalo ka, Semi!"

"Asa ka! Tss," I tsked and shook my head.

I entered the kitched with the paper bag in my hand. I placed it on the kitchen counter and opened it. I smiled when I saw spicy shrimp, lobster, and cheesy corns. May inumin pa doon na dalawang bote ng energy drink.
