Chapter 1

I'll be using some of the characters first name during monologues since their last names are too long, or maybe not lol. 

Hayasaka POV

There really isn't much to say about the entrance ceremony aside from it being boring, many students share the same opinion as far as I can tell. Even Kaguya-sama wasn't so interested with the principals speech and wished she could just continue reading the novel she had instead of attending this boring ceremony. It wasn't that long before it was finally over and the two of us began heading to our designated classroom, Class D.

(I think past Kaguya would be a perfect fit for Class D in a COTE setting, and I honestly think that Hayasaka would fit the higher classes but for plot convenience, I decided to put her with Kaguya.)

There were already a lot of students inside the classroom when we reached there, upon entering together, the room became silent as Kaguya-sama has caught the attention of both boys and girls, its only natural since my mistress is such a beauty and radiates a noble aura. I've also received quite an attention myself, but that isn't really important right now. 

Ignoring the awestruck look they were giving us, we begin looking for the seats with our nameplates. I found my seat which was in the back of the classroom beside the window, thankfully, Kaguya-sama's seat is in front of mine so I can talk to her and attend to her needs whenever she needed it. 

Since we already found our seat, Kaguya-sama continued to read the novel she had and I began observing the students inside the classroom since we would probably be together for a year anyway, it would be good to see what kind of people we would be interacting with. Looking around, I can already see two familiar faces, they were the blonde hair man as well as the short haired girl we saw at the bus, great, two troublesome people are already in the same class as ours. The girl should not be much of an issue, but the man would definitely be a huge pain in the ass in the future, I internally sighed at that thought. Other students are already talking to each other, already trying to make friends with each other.

Looking to my right, I noticed that the brown hair man as well the girl with long black hair that were on the bus was also here, not only that, but he was also my neighbor. How many Class D students were crammed in that bus? Anyway, it looks like they were already bickering with each other, they were also like that in the school entrance, are those two already close with each other? I tried listening to their conversation to see what's going on.

"I don't think sitting next to someone for an entire year without knowing their name would be comfortable."  The brown haired man said to the girl beside him.

"I disagree." The girl shot back at him.

Judging by the conversation, it looks the man was simply trying to get acquainted with his neighbor, but the girl looking uninterested to becoming friends, refused him. I can already tell that this girl too would be a pain, I already had enough with Kaguya-sama's occasional unreasonable demands, I don't want to add troublesome people to deal with, but sadly, these are my classmates and I would have to interact with them eventually even if I don't want too.

The man noticed that I was listening to them, crap, I might be staring at them too much, I don't want to get drag into this, but fate was not on my side as he turned to me and asked awkwardly.

"Hello, may I know your name?" 

I sighed, accepting the fate that I was in "Isn't it common sense to introduce yourself first before asking someone else's name?" I said in return.

"Sorry about that, I'm Ayanokouji Kiyotaka." 

"It's fine don't worry, my name is Hayasaka Ai, nice to meet you." I said with a smile.
