Chapter 2

You and Carl were walking to the prison. Things were kind of awkward since nobody was talking. Finally Carl couldn't stand the silence and said, "So how did you manage to survive out there alone?" You looked up at him and said, "I stole stuff from other groups at night and looked in old abandoned towns. I was pretty lucky I found supplies for so long." Carl smiled a little. "My father Rick, always has this rule of questions." "What is it about?" You asked nervously. "There are three questions we ask every new member." "Are you gonna ask them to me?" Carl nodded. "How many walkers have you killed?" You sighed confused and said "A lot, I can't remember." "How many people have you killed?" Your eyes went wide open. You were nervous about what Carl would think if he knew how many people. "O-one." You said nervously. Carl seemed very calm, so you were calm too. "Why?" He asks. "W-well, It was by accident. I was with my dad and our group was in danger. I shot the leader of their group and then the storm came and we managed to get away..". "So you didn't mean it?" Said Carl. "Not at all.". "I'm glad." You both walked for what seemed like ages, but finally you got there. You saw a huge prison with four watch towers, lots of crops with fruits growing on them. You could see kids running and happy people. The whole thing looked very protected. You felt safer than you ever did before. "Are you ready to meet everyone." Carl asked with a smile. "Yes." You nodded excitedly. You both walked to the prison's gate. There was a guy with a medium length hair. "Who's this." The guys asks. "Her name is Y/N. saved her from a herd of walkers while I was out looking for wood.". "Well, welcome to our home. My name is Glenn, nice to meet you." he smiled. "Nice to meet you too." you smiled thankfully. "Everyone is so nice here." Carl smiled. "Yeah..We are like a big family, and we do whatever it takes to keep it together." You and Carl walked over to this huge part of the prison where there was a grill, tables and chairs set out, and a bunch of people eating. "Hey Carl!" Said a tall guys with curly hair and glasses. "Hey Patrick." Carl answered. "Who's this." Asked Patrick. "This is Y/N. I saved her when I was looking for wood.". "Very brave of you." said Patrick. He wouldn't keep his eyes off of you. You were creeped out. Finally you got to meet everyone sitting down at the tables. You also met a very nice woman named Carol. along the way you met two little girls named Lizzie and Mika as well. "Wow everyone is so amazing and nice here!" Carl had a big smile on his face. He liked you. A lot.
