Well summer is officially over. Today is my first day back. Sadly, I'm scared about this year. Well, they always say new year new start! I walked into Southville High, the surroundings I never once forgot.. I went to go get my schedule in the office from my one and only person that inspires me, Mrs. Davis.
"Goodmorning Mrs. Davis!" As soon as those words came out, she turned around so fast like she was finto break her damn neck. "Kristine Sweetie! Oh my goodness, I've missed you so very much! How are youuuu?" She said while pinching my cheeks. I flashed her a wide smile and grabbed her hands to pull them away from my face. "I'm good actually, I'm looking forward to this year." Lies. "Well thats good hun, let me just give you your schedule before you be late on your first day back." She chuckled. "Here you go, now shoo! And remember Kristine, you can always tell me anything.. You know I'm here for you." This is why I'm inspired by Mrs. Davis, she takes time out of her needs to make sure you are doing great. I sighed, "I know Mrs. Davis." She looked at me full of sympathy, "Well alright then." With that being said, I walked out the front office and ran up the stairs.

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I walked into my first class which was reading, Mr. Willis. I looked up to see the one and only boy that I have liked since freshman year. Jermy Kane 😍🔥. I walked to the very front and took a seat. I know what your thinking.. Really, the front? Yes really, I can't sit in the back because some of these people be having big ass heads and nobody got time for that 💁. More kids came in and took a seat, eventually the bell rung. Well, this is going to be a good day. Until I heard the door open and shut. I didn't bother to look up until I hear Mr. Willis say, "Why are you late to my class on the first day? You should already know where every class is." "Ain't nobody want to be here anyways, so you lucky I even came!" I hesitated for a minute... That can't be her. I snapped my head up and there right in front of me was Melanie Colver. The person I truly hated because she always told me I wasn't going to be anything in life. Our eyes met and she gave me a huge smile and waved.
