Veronica P.O.V.
Some people say I want to be like Melanie or I'm her little puppet. Nah, I just want to be in the cut. Get the details first, you feel me? I cant really lie, I do her dirty work sometimes. That's my girl! I know she would do it for me if it was necessary. Well, my name is Veronica Hanes and I'm 16 years old, dark brown eyes, black hair and stand about 5'5.
Right now I'm going to my last period. Thank god. I have Mr. Ramie, math. I walked into his class and everyone's eyes were on me. I flipped my hair and let out a smile, I just love the attention you know cause I'm just that bitch. I scanned the room and spotted Kristine. I went and sat next to her and crossed my legs. She let out a deep sigh. I know what I did was petty, thats why I did it. Class started and I turned around to face her and said, "Hey Kristine." She just looked at me and back at her work. "You just ain't gone speak?" I scoffed at her. "Hey Veronica! Shit, what you want me to do? Jump in your arms and be like oh my gosh hey! I didn't know we had a class togetherrr. " Kristine said while doing hand motions and flipping her hair. I must admit, she grew some damn balls since last year. I just rolled my eyes and turned around. "Keep rolling yo eyes, them bitches gone get stuck." I heard someone say. I turned around and seen Mark in the back cracking up. I swear he is so immature, and gets on my last nerves.

This hoe Veronica had the nerve to sit by me and try to have a conversation. Like really? Petty. I just can't wait until this bell ring, it's last period and I'm ready to go home.
*1 HOUR LATER*
The bell rang and I couldn't be even happier. I ran out of class, downstairs out the doors. I smiled once I seen my mom in her 2015 Camero waiting on me. I climbed inside and put on my seatbelt. She pulled out of the school, looking both ways before proceeding out into L.A. Traffic. "So baby, how was your first day as a sophomore?" She asked with a bright smile on her face. "It was fine, just some people getting on my nerves." I sighed. She glanced at me then back to road. "Already? Well do you have any classes with that Jermy boy?" I blushed hard. "Mom! Seriously? Well, yes I do have classes with him." I said slightly rolling my eyes. She chuckled while pulling into our driveway. I instantly hopped out and got my keys out and opened the door. "You couldn't wait for me?" I heard my mom say from behind me. "Nope." I said before sprinting up to my bedroom. I opened my door and put my stuff down and grabbed my journal. This is where I right my thoughts and they just come out lyrics to be honest. The one I love the most is, "They always underestimate me, but one day I'm going to be on MTV. They always be the one's to talk shit about me. When I make it, they gone be in my crowd saying is that Kristine from L.A. Town? I'm not going to be indirect this song ain't for me, it's for you and that bitch named Melanie." I smiled down at my journal and began writing about today's events which is just more lyrics added to my collection. I may not believe it but I think mama was right, I guess I might be something in life.
