Kitsune

"Shiggy!"

The sound of my boots against the concrete floor echos off of the dirty gray walls as I walk through the hallway of Shigaraki's lab.

"Oh, Shigaraki!" My singsong tone is sure to irritate him as it carries loudly through the hall.

But messing with Tomura is one of my favorite pastimes.

I walk towards his main office, noticing the door is cracked open.

Knocking once but not bothering to wait for his answer, I push the door open with my foot and lean against the frame.

Tomura sits in his leather chair, behind the desk that he thinks makes him look like a boss.

I nearly scoff to myself just thinking about it.

His long wrinkled fingers, rhythmically tap on the surface of his desk as he stares at me.

With his jaw locked tightly into place, and his eyes narrowed into angry slits, I'm already aware of what type of lecture I'm in for.

"Hey Shigs, missed me?"

I walk forward, pulling out the chair in front of him and flop lazily into it, placing a foot up on the top of his desk.

I watch while his nostrils flare slightly at the sight of my boot.

When his eyes come back to meet mine again, I can't help but top it all off with a sly wink.

"Tell me Kitty,"

His fingers quit their drumming as he swivels forward in his chair to face me straight on.

"How stupid are you?"

I chew on my bottom lip as the corners of my mouth threaten to tug into a smile.

I know well enough that Tomura is all bark and no bite when it comes to me.

"Did we raise you that way? Or where you actually just born like that and doomed from the very start?"

He laces his fingers together as he leans towards me, waiting for my answer.

The breathy laugh that comes from my nostrils, must really push his buttons because his hand whips out and roughly shoves my foot off of his desk.

"Easy, Tomura."

I sit up in my chair, struggling to hide the amusement on my face.

"Dabi said you weren't too happy with me, but this seems a bit overboard, don't ya think?"

He huffs loudly, standing as he leans forward on the desk, towering over me.

"You are an insolent woman. Too bold for your own good. If you think for one moment that I won't kill you before you get us caught, these last 20 years have taught you nothing about me."

I stand from the chair and walk over to his book shelf, running my finger along the spines of his collection.

"No one knows my true identity. I keep my hood and mask on at all times."

His palm slams down on the top of the desk as his breathing pace increases from his growing anger.

"That's not the point."

He walks around the desk until he's directly in front of me, backing me up against the wall of his office.

"You walk in there like you own the place, leaving witnesses, giving them a story! Something to work with."
