After falling asleep a little past 4 a.m., staying up in a call with Dream, Quackity, and Sapnap -which, for the person living in Florida it was a pretty normal time to fall asleep, but why would George abide to his own time zone?- he woke up a little past noon, which honestly was the usual.
His mom had stopped by and checked up on him, and even gotten a few groceries since he wouldn't be able to carry them all home from the store.
He figured out how to do dishes one handed, which required a plastic bag around his cast and holding the object in place with the tips of his fingers that came out of the cast, as his right hand scrubbed away at the dirty dishes and silverware.
Which was honestly a tedious task, but he really needed some clean cups.
He had taken a shower after doing the dishes, which once again required a plastic bag -using two for extra protection- and a lot of patience with trying to wash all of his hair and body.
Even though he's only had the cast for five days, he's starting to get used to everyday things.
Once he got out of the shower, feeling very refreshed, he checked the website for his keyboard, seeing it'd take about 2 weeks for it to arrive.
That was way longer than he'd like to wait, and it doesn't help that he doesn't have an old keyboard to use, because the last one he used was broken. That's why he got a new one in the first place.
And now here he is once again, another broken keyboard and not enough patience.
Most of his American friends were still asleep, but his British friends were all up. He wanted to do something that wouldn't require his PC, so he pulled out his old laptop, which he hasn't used in who knows how long, and texted Wilbur on discord, asking what he's doing.
The curly haired male replied, saying he was playing geoguesser. George asked if he could join, mostly because Wilbur wasn't streaming and he just wanted to talk to someone, and Wilbur said yes.
They talked on call for a while as they played, making a little comments here and there about the places they were in and also just personal conversations about their lives.
Over the past year they had started to grow close, and a topic came up that George didn't think he'd talk about at all, but he didn't really mind it.
It started off with a simple question George was asking about Niki, and mostly Wilburs friendship with her. He already knew they didn't want to be shipped together or anything like that, and they were just talking about Wilbur's point of view on the whole shipping thing in general.
But then, he asked a question.
"How do you feel about people shipping you with Dream? I mean, I know you both don't care and stuff, but what do you think about that kind of stuff?" Wilbur queried, cheering quietly when he guessed the place correctly.
"I don't really mind, I find the jokes pretty funny and I make them too anyways" he laughed it off, moving onto the next round and new place.
"Well yeah, I know that. But does it ever make you uncomfortable, or, I don't know, make you question things? You both do it so often, half the time it doesn't seem like a joke" Wilbur laughed at his words, but stalled when George stayed silent.
"Is anything I said true? You don't have to tell me anything, but, if you need to talk I'm always here..." Wilbur trailed off, making an opening for George to speak.
The brit hesitated for a moment. Did he feel ready to talk about how he felt? He obviously knows how he feels, but does he want to share that information with someone? Not telling anyone and keeping it all in would probably make it harder on himself. And saying something would make it easier to work through, and hopefully, get over.
