Turning around in bed, George heard the distinct sound of Dream's laughter, accompanied by Sapnaps.

Apparently, while he was asleep, the blond had invited the other to join their call on discord, and so both of them were talking.

The youngest had already started the 20 hour drive to Florida, currently about two hours in. George had slept in to about noon, making it about 7 a.m. for Dream, and 8 a.m. for Sapnap. The Texan had expressed that he wanted to leave early, in hopes of getting there at a decent time.

Since his drive started at 6 a.m., he'd probably get there around 1 in the morning, driving the entire day. And considering that doesn't include bathroom brakes, gas station stops, and eating -plus taking a break to sleep at some point- they all knew the drive was gonna be a long one.

"Hey guys" George's tired voice broke the laughter that was filling the call, making Dream shout "Georgie!" and Sapnap exclaiming "Gogy!"

"About time you wake up" Sapnap had his camera on, facing him and propped up on a phone holder in his car. George could see the boys monster energy can, that was unopened for now, and an ice coffee, both drinks in the boys cup holder.

"God Sap, that's too much caffeine" the brit groaned at just the thought of it all, and he decided to turn his camera on as well. All the other two could see was his messy bed head and his ceiling.

"Show your face, idiot" Dream said, his smile evident as he saw the boys brunet hair.

"Says you of all people" George grumbled, using his hand in the cast to move his phone closer, since he needed to hold the camera with his right one.

"Dude! You got a purple cast? It looks really nice" Sapnap commented, looking away from the road briefly to glance at his phone.

"Purple? It's dark blue..." his voice trailed off as he looked over at his cast. Had it been purple this whole time?

"George, that's definitely purple" Dream commented.

"Whatever" it didn't matter anyway, especially since he couldn't see the color. He walked to the kitchen and set his camera up to lean against his toaster, and that's when he realized what his pajamas were.

"Are you not wearing any pants!?" Dream wheezed upon seeing the boys outfit, only seeing an oversized hoodie and his legs.

"I'm wearing shorts!" George lifted the end of his hoodie up about an inch, showing his gray shorts that were underneath. He rolled his eyes and grabbed a mug, beginning to boil some water for tea. He also grabbed a bagel, popping it in the toaster.

Sapnap talked about how his drive had been going so far, updated them on the fact that he really had to piss, and he left the call for a couple minutes after stopping at a gas station.

While he was gone, George ate his now cream cheese covered bagel, sipping on some black tea and talking to Dream.

"I still can't believe he'll be here... It's kind of surreal, ya know? I figure that's how it'll be with you too..." the other trailed off, the call going silent.

It would feel surreal, wouldn't it? He's known Dream and Sapnap for so long, the thought of seeing them in real life felt insane, and that's just thinking about it, not actually doing it. He wants to meet them, but now coming to terms with his feelings and hoping to lose them as quick as possible, it doesn't seem like that time will come anytime soon.

A large part of him just wants to push that all to the side, take the leap and just do it. Just move in with his two bestfriends.

Even if Dream doesn't return his feelings, with time, they'll fade anyway, right? There's nothing to worry about.
