I can't stop the feeling, oh my

Kihyun quickly found out that he was a damned man. Underestimating Hyunwoo, the author of two masterpieces, was a bad idea, and now he had a massage to give. What a good way to start a morning.

Maybe he didn't care too much, actually, but thinking about giving a massage to Hyunwoo was flustering him a bit. Thinking about the man under him, shirtless, letting out a few little sighs...

What am I thinking about??

The smaller man shook his head to rationalize his thoughts. He couldn't help but wonder, though, how ripped Hyunwoo was. He could see the defined biceps of the latter, and Kihyun really wanted to smack himself in the face for thinking such a thing. Instead, he just said something he knew was a fact.

"Fuck man, why do you have to be so awesome?"

Hyunwoo, sitting on his chair, laughed at his partner's words. He looked confident, but the color of his cheeks was slowly betraying him and Kihyun thought it was cute. He didn't seem to be very used to being the center of attention, though he must have been a lot because of all the prizes his books won. Of course, a man like him would be humble; it was kind of inspiring.

"Nah...I'm not." The taller man was still smiling, but very shyly, and avoiding his gaze. Kihyun thought the sight of a flustered Hyunwoo was absolutely adorable, but he couldn't believe he was here denying a fact. For sure, they didn't know each other that much, but it didn't take Kihyun years to figure out that Hyunwoo was a nice, laid-back man with a lot of talent for writing. He also seemed smart, mature, was handsome, and very caring; that's what could be described as awesome. A good person, it seemed like.

"Yes, you are, don't even deny it. Ah, I wish I was like you." Kihyun's answer was a bit dreamy, a sigh leaving his lips. In front of him, Hyunwoo seemed to be confused, but also wanting his sidekick to continue speaking. So, naturally, that's what he did. "You have a way with words, and it's really beautiful. Flows easily, and damn, I really want to hit Sooyoung for acting like a prick. I wasn't expecting that."

Hyunwoo's smile shy grew wider, and he looked at his friend with his rosy cheeks and vulnerable eyes. That was truly cute, and Kihyun knew that the other man was no danger to him. He wasn't too afraid of getting cut in two in the forest anymore. There was a comforting aura here, one that made the younger man feel at home even though he never even stepped a foot in the town before. He was glad destiny put them across each other's way because he felt like he would come out of this experience with a lot of good things. This was really what he needed to change his thoughts and have a new start.

"Thank you very much, Kihyun..." Hyunwoo hated to bother, and knew Kihyun wasn't a writer, but who could be better to help him than an avid reader of the two previous books? It was read to meet one like that, but he was also glad to know what people thought of what he wrote. The other man seemed very sincere when he was telling him how awesome him and his books were, so he continued. "But I have a problem with a few words and some things that happen in the next chapter...Can you help me?"

Kihyun was surprised, not expecting Hyunwoo to ask him for help. He wasn't against it, far from that, but was far from being a good writer and doubted he could actually change something. Nevertheless, he didn't see any big reason to say no. He could try. "I could, but I'm not the best in town, hope you know that." And inside, the man was kind of honored that Hyunwoo was asking him for help.

"You're an artistic soul too, Ki'. Artists see things that others can't, and I'm sure you'll find a way to make it better."

Hyunwoo seemed so sure, so confident in what he said that Kihyun believed him. They both shared a sweet smile.

"Okay, show me that chapter then."

Kihyun could hardly believe all the work he had done once the third chapter was finished. Despite not being the best writer, it seemed like he had helped his friend a lot and he was happy about it, the endlessly kind soul that he was. The chapter was fucking amazing, too, which made the small boy even happier. He had helped the writer see some mistakes, like grammar ones, or the sentences that could be written better. Some parts that could be better, some that were already perfect...It was kind of fun, doing this with his elder. Even if it ended in the guy throwing some jellies at him that almost got him dead by choking.

Beside him, Hyunwoo was looking at his new friend and observing his features. They were beautiful, and he was wearing that kind and the warm small smile he often wore. Such an interesting person, he couldn't help but think. There was also this sentence he said earlier, about how he wished he was like him. Hyunwoo wanted to understand what he meant by that.

"Hey, uh, about what you said earlier..." Hyunwoo wasn't quite sure how to approach the subject, because he barely knew the guy and didn't want to come across as noisy. To be honest, it wasn't very clear, and it was normal to say Kihyun was confused as to what he was referring to. "About...About how you wished you were like me. Can I, like, ask why?"

Kihyun's heart stopped a bit, his mind finally taking on how it sounded. He didn't really know how to explain all of this, but truthfully, if he was already here with a stranger, in the woods...Then he had nothing to fear, or at least, not judgement. "I guess I just...Don't know where I'm going with my life? Just got out of school, still don't know how I will have a job with arts. Well, I wanna be an art teacher, but will I be good enough? That's a long story...And, And..." The smaller man's breath was stuck in his throat, but he swallowed again. Hyunwoo's expression was always so comforting and open that he found himself keeping talking. "I envy you because you achieved your dream and you're living off it. Not saying you didn't struggle! Not at all, I do not know your life, and I'm happy for you. But I wished I had such a talent."

Immediately, his face was grabbed, two strong hands sweetly yet firmly bringing their two faces together. Forehead to forehead, closer than they had ever been, and Kihyun felt his heart thump loudly in his chest, out of fear and some excitement. Hyunwoo's gaze was so firm, so honest and open that Kihyun knew whatever the writer would say would be the truth.

"I never wanna hear you say that again, okay?" Voice soft, as always, yet an order that screamed to be respected. He now understood that the older man just wanted to make him listen thoroughly to what he was saying. Kihyun would never have the heart to dent him, either way. "You're talented, so freaking talented. I saw your drawings, even your "ugly sketches" and they are all awesome. Don't give up. You have everything to succeed in life."

Hyunwoo eventually let go of his grip, sitting back normally into his chair, and Kihyun could still feel his heart beat loud and his cheeks getting red. The tone of the oldest was so honest, especially about someone you didn't know much. Kihyun really appreciated it, even if he felt himself combust at these words. The smaller boy also swallowed a lump in his throat, eyes tingling like they wanted to cry. Don't cry just because some dude told you you're talented, God, Kihyun, you know better than that!

Actually, no, no he didn't. Even Minhyuk never had such intensity when praising him; not that he had minded, but seeing someone so convinced with not much was touching.

"T-Thank Y-You...." His voice was a bit shaky, stuttering, and Hyunwoo felt himself smile at the irresistible sight of a flustered Kihyun. So rare but good. Hyunwoo could also feel his own heart beating a bit faster.

"Actually, I have a project I want to talk to you about. Could use your help, but I will not do so now. I instead propose we stop doing that and go read together in the living room." The older man was smiling softly, the proposal making Kihyun smile very wide. He was curious about the project, of course he was, but he was ready to wait. Reading together in the sunny living room was something straight-out of a romcom, yet Kihyun's immediate answer was yes. Hyunwoo smiled more, not really minding how bad Kihyun was at saying thank you properly, brain almost freezing.

"Y-Yeah, sounds good," replied vocally the smaller boy with a shy smile. As he got up or his chair, a smirk also made his way to the writer's smile. One that didn't indicate good.

"Don't worry, you'll massage me later."

"Hyunwoo!"
