Kelvin's thirst as a human made him thirst for blood as a vampire, he looked around and saw a young lady walking down the road, he rushed towards her in vampire speed and sucked her blood dry, then he dropped the body and smiled satisfactorily.
Later, Nick went back to the place he found his son, as he was looking around and investigating, he heard footsteps and looked towards the direction of the sound, he saw a beast carrying a dead body, he stealthily followed followed the beast till they reached a point and Nick realized he couldn't go any further without getting lost but he didn't want to leave the beast without an injury, he raised his gun and BOOM!! the bullet hit the beast and it shouted, dropped the body and ran away.
He came close to the body, looked at it closely, then he tried to call the station but his cell phone was dead so he decided to go back and scout for other people that would help him carry the body home.
Later that night, the radiation increased it's perimeter and came in contact with the dead body and transformed the body into a walking dead (zombie).
The following day, John met with Philip, "What's up on your findings?", he asked , "I got a sample of saliva" replied Philip "And I'm planning on taking it to the lab and running tests on it against the leader of the '87 camping group and Max their MIA member". "Ok" retorted John "I'll see you later then", as he was about to leave m, Philip grabbed him and pulled him to a secluded corner of the building. "There's something else". "What is it?" John asked and watched as Philip frantically searched his bag for something but when he raised his head up to speak to John, the disappointment of not finding that "something" shone in his eyes as he remarked regretfully "It's not here but it's about a missing report about two lovers who wandered into that particular forest and now, they're nowhere to be found" there was silence between the two boys as John assimilated Philip's words. "Wait a minute" John said impulsively "We're in a hell of a fix right now, just connect the dots, assuming that the beasts were Max and his accomplice, and because of blood Lu's accompanied with this sort of transformation, they must have murdered our Romeo and Juliet". "Insightful!" Philip remarked " But wait, let me return with the tests from the lab before we assume anything". John didn't reply, he just shrugged.
