Chapter 6

As Nick and his gang advanced to the city that night, Kelvin came out to feed and came across a werewolf on the hunt, he jumped to the werewolf but it senses him and used it's hind legs to hit Kelvin to a tree then he attempted to use his claws to stab Kelvin's shoulder to the tree but Kelvin dodged it and kicked the wolf's hand and it bent in the opposite direction, before the wolf could recover from the shock of that hit, Kelvin jumped and used his heel to hit the werewolf's jaw which sent the werewolf into instant blackout then Kelvin sucked it's blood to satisfaction.

         The gang entered the village and spied about a dozen of beasts coming round the corner, thy began to shoot sporadically killing some in the process while some ran away. Nick and his gang began to clear the werewolves from that city, some died on the spot, some sustained terminal injuries and died during escape while others escaped to the forest, some of them ran to the west of the village and got into a brutal battle with the Swift footed zombies, there was bloodshed, brain bashing, bone breaking, flesh ripping, etc.

       Some werewolves that ran into Kelvin's battle zone were bitten by him and in doing so, he sired them just like Max did but in doing so, he created a new breed of creatures three times more lethal than any of the existing ones , he created hybrids. Max has left the ruling of the quadrant under the supervision of the leader of the '87 camping group.

         Philip and John went to the site to run more tests but they stood some distance away to avoid coming in direct contact with the radiation. As they began the test, they heard a distant noise which sounded like a herd of Elephants trampling their way through the woods, suddenly John jumped and pushed Philip out of the way and two of them fell under a thicker bush concealing them from any observer above, they peeked and saw injured werewolves running away, when everywhere was finally quiet, they crept out and the area ahead of them which was the site proved DU radiation positive. "Oh my gosh, this is bad" said Philip, "I think there is a solution" pondered John "As I read through the article, it said something about the portal having a kind of metamorphosis....." "So judging from the length of time taken from that incident till now, it should be on it's depletion stage now" continued Philip "So we just have to find a way to make it close faster" said John smiling to himself like a satisfied cat
