Rewriting this chapter a bit. I realised my timeline was a lil messed up for Avery and Loki knowing each other and shizz. They meet After Avengers happens and in this new timeline Loki is in prison with Avery a LOT longer than he is in Dark World. Then he leaves Asgard, Avery is still stuck in prison, timesharing between Earth and Asgard. I've put the time frame from Avengers to my "Infinity War" to ten years, not including the movies beforehand, so the whole thing lasts a lot longer than the actual MCU. As you already see, Odin and SHIELD did know of each other, but Odin was working with HYDRA SHIELD because he was unaware of HYDRA until it was too late.

Tony landed back in his body with a jolt and a groan.
"Ow."
"Well you're not dead. Well done." Said Thor as he helped him up.
"Shush Pointbreak." Tony said as he watched the screen.

Loki walked along the hall to the last chamber. "Here goes nothing." He said to himself.
He opened the door and walked inside. It was pitch black. All he could hear was a distorted humming noise.

My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye... sea may rise, sky may fall...my love will never die...

The voice echoed like a Siren throughout the Chamber and Loki smiled. Their song, one only he and Avery knew. Well, now the Avengers will have heard part of it. He summoned a ball of light to guide him. He thought for a moment and started to call back as he walked forward.

Go on go on go bravely on, into the blackest night, hold my breath till your return, my love will never die.

Loki stopped and watched as Avery appeared in front of him, but they split into several copies of themselves. There was about twelve copies of them slowly circling him, singing softly.

Loki watched each one in turn and then grinned.
"Nice try Avery, but I know you too well." He threw the light above him and the whole room was illuminated. The Avery copies were circling him slowly, each one slightly different, as he drew his knives. He turned to one.
"Your hair is wrong" and chucked the knife. He turned to another and looked at their clothes. "Avery wouldn't be caught dead in yellow" Another knife hit its target.

Loki worked methodically, analysing each and catching the clues his friend had left him. If they had made it possible to find them, they wanted to be saved. And they were fighting that rune with everything they had. The Siren's song continued throughout.

My love, my love my fearless love i will not say goodbye! Sea may rise, sky may fall, my love will never die!

Loki stabbed the last fake before turning to Avery who smiled at him as he called back;

"Sea may rise, sky may fall, my love will never die"

"my love will never die."
Avery, who looked sickly and pale, finished the song with a tired grin.

"You remember" they said.

"I do." was the reply.

"Well, tell me Loki. You've seen my memories, why should I keep fighting this? You've got no idea how painful this is. Constantly reliving your worst memories, having everyone you love leave you, lie to you and use you." Avery said with a grimace as they fell to their knees, their veins turning black. Loki ran over and held them tightly.

Back in the conscious world the heart monitors were going haywire and Avery's veins had turned blacker than ink like on the screen. Tony and Thor began to freak out, yelling and panicking, grabbing random equipment and bumping into each other, frantic to save them. Peter Quill and Valkyrie looked and each other and nodded before walking over and slapping Tony and Thor respectively.
"Snap out of it!" they yelled in unison. Tony glared at Peter.
"They're right you know." Nat said with a raised eyebrow.
"They're both dying!" Thor shrieked.
"You yelling isn't helping!" snapped Steve. "Just keep watching the screen, there's nothing we can do here." Said Stephen grimly. They all turned back to the screen.
