"Once we take down these villains, I need to talk to you." Eijirou said, smiling at his boyfriend sitting next to him on a military bus with a few other heroes.
"About what?" Katsuki asked, taking Eijirou's hand in his own, trying his best to lace his gloved fingers around the other man's.
"Oh... nothing. And everything, y'know? Just stuff I've been thinking about." Eijirou smiled up at the ceiling above them, swaying as the bus sped up. They both looked up, out of a small window hatch revealing the dark sky, glittering with stars above them.
The two men smiled at each other, barely even paying attention when a voice piped in from in front of them. Katsuki smiled as he remembered how long they had been together. Since their second year at UA. And Katsuki loved every second they spent together. Even the rough fights seemed to build their relationship up more. Now they could stand up to anything life threw at them.
Together.
"You guys are so sweet it's literally making me sick." A familiar Sparky whined from across the aisle, resting his face on his hands.
"I wish I had someone to treat me like that..."
"Wait, Denki? Didn't you say that you and Hanta were going pretty steady? I honestly thought that you two would stay together." Eijirou mentioned, letting Katsuki rest his head on his shoulder. He was now nervous about something, but Eijirou couldn't tell what.
"Yeah, we were. But we decided that we were just better as bros, y'know?" Denki said, leaning back on his chair, trying to look cool.
"You broke up with him because he didn't like your taste in memes, didn't you?" Eijirou asked, raising an eyebrow as Denki flinched.
"...yeah..." Denki admitted, sighing sadly, causing Eijirou to laugh.
"Hey, Ei?" Katsuki asked quietly, as to not raise any more attention from anyone else.
Eijirou hummed as Katsuki fiddled with something in his pocket.
The man suddenly seemed a little nervous.
"Hey... are you nervous about this fight?" Eijirou asked, gently rubbed his thumb against his boyfriend's as he reluctantly nodded.
"Aww... c'mon. You're one of the best heroes I know! Taking down a few new villains will be a breeze for you." Eijirou gently kissed Katsuki's forehead, smiling as the bus came to a halt.
Katsuki smirked up at his boyfriend, standing up and walking out of the bus, still holding his hand.
"What's the plan, boss?!" Denki asked, giving a signature thumbs up to Deku in front of him.
"Well, Kaminari. This is a new group of villains that we haven't faced before. In fact, we don't know who any of them are. They're wearing masks, and they haven't used their quirks yet. But, they have the CEO of a charity held hostage. There seems to be a bomb on the bottom floor. Kacchan- I mean... Dynamight, we'll send you and Red Riot in to get that to a safe place. We aren't sure how many villains are in there, so be careful." Deku explained, looking authoritative.
"After that, Chargebolt and I will go in and grab the CEO from the main villain on the second floor."
Deku explained more of the plan to Denki, but Katsuki wasn't paying attention. He was stretching out his arms, and smirking up at the fancy building with some policemen in front of it.
He studied the windows, the doors, and the space around it. And Eijirou knew this version of him well. "What's the plan, man?" He giggled, resting a hand on the other man's shoulder.
