A few more months went by.And Katsuki was getting better.
He still wasn't at one hundred, but he was pushing past that. He would go to work.
Hang out with his friends.
And even laugh and smile with them.
He was even practicing new moves to use against villains.
Who knows if he was actually moving on. He would wear the ring on a chain around his neck. Wherever he went, he would make sure that it was the first thing he had before he left the house.
He even left his keys at home once on accident.
"You should come to that class masquerade party. I hear it's going to be really fun." Deku mentioned.
"Nah. Doesn't seem like my thing." He said, resting his gauntlets in his lap.
But that wasn't what he wanted to know, really.
They were both on another military bus, headed toward a skyscraper on the edge of town.
There were a few other notable heroes around them:
Creati.
Chargebolt.
Cellophane.
Pinky.
Earphone Jack.
Froppy.
Uravity.
Suneater.
Lemillion.
EraserHead.
And, of course, Deku and Dynamight.
This group must be pretty bad to have this big of a group together, and they all kept glancing back at Katsuki.
"Who are we fighting, anyways? Must be pretty bad if we had to call in this loser-party." he admitted with a forced chuckle.
No one else laughed.
They just glanced at him and back at each other.
"Umm... Kacchan... I- umm..." Deku stuttered, looking to the others for help.
"Riot Snatchers." Amajiki said, not even looking back at the man. He had an angry glare on his face as he stared up at the small window-hatch above them.
Katsuki gulped and felt for the ring around his neck. He was smart, though. He never wore it while working, for fear of losing or breaking it.
He smiled an angry glare as everyone stared at him for his reaction.
"We're fighting Riot Snatchers? Why didn't you all tell me sooner? Think I can't handle it or somethin'?" Katsuki asked, glaring at Deku. He stood up, swaying as the bus kept moving, taking a deep breath.
"Let's beat the shit outta these sons of bitches."
When they got to the skyscraper, they didn't even know what was happening inside. It was just like last time. They didn't know how many villains or civilians were on the first few floors, and everyone else was nervous about the icy-blue blasts that shot through the windows on the taller floors.
Katsuki stared up, his vision going red.
The villain that took Eijirou might be up there.
And Katsuki was going to kick his ass.
He started walking out of the bus as Deku started explaining what to do. He felt a hand around his arm, but he didn't turn around.
"Bakugou. I'm angry too. But we can't just rush in without a plan." Denki said, sitting Katsuki back down.
