"Hey Y/NN, CEO-nim told me he'd like to have a talk with you for an upcoming project. You'll make your acting debut! It has been half a year since you've signed the contract as an actress here, was it worth the wait?"

Jisoo cheered, flailing her arms around in excitement as if she was the one who's up into a new drama. The older girl hugged her sister, proud of the milestone Y/N had reached.

Y/N was also happy. She even gasped in surprise upon hearing the news, she would officially be an actress. A dream she wanted to achieve next to being an idol.

The younger Kim hugged back her sister, in the verge of crying due to happiness, "I'm so excited, eonni! What if I'd also be in the new drama you are currently filming for? It'd be fun working with you!"

"Just by thinking of it, it indeed sounds fun! We'll never know until we finally finished the little meeting with CEO-nim. I gotta tell this to the boys," The older quickly took out her phone, excited to tell both Seungmin and Jin about the news.

Just right after Jisoo messaging the two boys, Y/N's phone rang as she excused herself for a while. She answered, "Hello?"

"Y/N-ah, it's me, Sadness unnie. Are you busy?" The person in the other line asked.

Y/N felt like her heart skipped a beat upon talking with their previous manager again. It has been a while and is indeed surprising for her to call when they were already out of business.

"Oh uh, not really. But I do have a meeting in a while, why did you called, eonni? Is there something wrong?"

For some unknown reason, she felt giddy and all. That feeling you get when you felt that something is wrong but for Y/N, it was the opposite of it. Was it because she heard their manager's voice again? Or because of some other things?

"Is that so? I'll have to go talk with YG then. I'll head over there, wait for me okay? Alright, see you."

Not even letting Y/N response, the older girl bidded her goodbye as she dropped the call. Y/N was left dumbfounded.

"Hey, you good?"

Jisoo worriedly asked as she examined her sister who seemed to be frozen, "Yoohoo, Y/N are you there?" The older waved her hand in front of Y/N's face as the said girl finally snapped out of her trance.

"I'll ask again, are you okay? You seemed disturbed," Jisoo patted Y/N's head, the girl smiling in process, "I'm fine, eonni. Manager Unnie just called me. It was so sudden, I didn't know what to do."

Y/N chuckled which turned into a hysterical laugh when Jisoo reacted. Her mouth opened wide as her eyes also went big due to how surprised she was, "Omo! What did she said?"

"I...I can't exactly understand to be honest," Y/N scratched her head out of embarrassment. Jisoo flicked her on the forehead, "You dork, why didn't you even asked? Were you really listening to her?"

"That's not what I meant! What I mean is, she didn't leave any explanation at all. She just asked if I was busy and she told me she'll come over here to talk with the CEO."

"Ooh, isn't that intriguing. I wonder what it is," the older girl cooed. "Anyway, we should wait for her and find out what she's gonna do."

"Oh Kim Nayeon-ssi, what brings you here? Is there anything you need?"

Hyunsuk asked as the girl entered his office, "I came to bargain. I just had a call from my work place, it's about IZ*ONE which you may know that it is Y/N's previous group."

The man nodded his head in understandment, gesturing for Nayeon to sit down on one of the chairs in front of him. The stated news seemed to be important and should be seriously talked about.
