Ten Months Later...
"Bloody hell!" I screamed over the wailing of the sirens.
I quickly scrambled to the bunker entrance. I nearly fell down the concrete stairs.
"Churchill!" I growled, meeting the gaze of the man. "Where the hell is everyone?"
My boss spun around.
"Arthur! Thank heavens you're here...The rest of the team is taking haven in the Northumberland Shelter."
I doubled over as I felt a bomb hitting its target.
Winston put out his cigar against the metal tabletop in front of him.
"Sit down lad, this is going to be a long raid." He instructed calmly.
"Bugger...Off..." I stuttered. "I'm perfectly...Fine...Just tell me what needs to be done..."
The man nodded.
"Alright, Arthur. All I need, is to hear the stats. Let me know what happens. I'll need the numbers and locations." He responded.
"So...B...Be it..."
I stood back up, but soon covered my ears.
The concrete roof began to shake, as the lights flickered.
I screamed bloody murder as a searing pain shot through my chest.
"Francis..." I groaned silently as I fell to the ground, watching the world go black.
