Dancing In The Rain

Sapnap and Karl walking through the door. George's eyes were focused on Sapnap's face. 

He looked super happy and full of joy. George then looked at Karl who was smiling as-well.

Dream was still talking away, not even noticing who entered.

George's eyes trailed down to Sapnap's hands. They were holding hands. George was shocked.

"Uh Dream," George said putting his hand on Dream's. "Uh mhm??" Dream said snapping out of the story telling.

"Look who is here." George said starting to panic.

Dream turned his head to see what George was talking about. Dream saw then looked back a George with wide eyes.

They looked each other in the eyes panicking inside.

They started to have a conversation with their eyes. Mostly just George who is worrying.

"Ok, put your hood up." Dream said in a whisper as he put his hood up.

George did what he asked. "We are gonna head out," Dream said grabbing his wallet.

"We already paid?" George said grabbing his phone.

"I love this waiter. She needs a tip." Dream said putting 10 dollars under the salt shaker.

Dream stood up with his head down.

He went to George's side of the table and put his hand out for George to grab.

George put his hand in Dream's and stood up. Dream led them walked towards the bathrooms.

"The door is over there." George whispered turning his head pointing behind them.

"Hold on I have a plan." Dream said as he led them to a room that was labeled staff only.

"We can't be here...?" George said hesitant to enter. Dream pulled him in.

After a few moments their waiter came in closing the door softly behind her.

"Dream?! what is it this time?"She said walking towards them.

"Why hello gorgeous," Dream said smiling.

"Mhm, what is it?" She said sarcastically.

"You see, my boyfriend is dating another guy. He was mine first, my best friend took him, I got him back secretly and his boyfriend just entered and we can't leave through the front door." Dream said running out of breath.

"I see, ok you see that window," the lady said pointing towards an old looking window. It was tinted brown. It looked like it was never cleaned.

"Yep I do," Dream said agreeing with her.

"You are gonna go out through there and I will distract the other guys while you hop in your car." She said.

Dream starting walking towards the window and opened it. It took some strength but he finally opened it.

Dream jumped through smoothly.

George stood there confused.

"Dream I'm not jumping through, I can't!" George said crossing his arms.

"Oh jump through cry baby," The woman said about to leave the staff room.

George felt embarrassed and starting to climb out.

Dream stood back. George put his legs out and sat down almost giving up.

The window as not very big, he was struggling to get his shoulders through.

"How the f*ck did you do this Dream," George said pushing on random parts of the opened window. Dream laughed.

George finally made his way out, he fell out onto the grass.

Dream started laughing his face off.

George laid there shocked for a few seconds.

Dream stood over George and bent over putting his hand out.

George grabbed it, and Dream lifted his off the ground.

"Thank you Dream," George said re adjusting his hand in Dream's hand.

"Anytime," Dream said walking them to the front of the building.

Once they got to the starting of the stores window Dream leaned his head in-front of the glass looking for the waiter.

She nodded at him and called Sapnap and Karl over the counter.

Dream ran and George followed.

They hopped in the car quickly and drove off.

"Oh my god," George said relieved. He was not much of a runner.

George flung his head back into the seat. He sank into the seat a little breathing heavily.

Dream looked over to see the burnt boy panting for air.

He had messy hair and was gripping the seats a little.

Dream bit his lip holding himself together.

"Where do we go now?" George said sitting back up a little.

Dream thought about it for a minute. "My apartment?" Dream said looking over to George. "Uh..I..Uh...I..mean...maybe...?" George said awkwardly."We don't have to," Dream said quickly as he turned into a random parking lot.

It is funny how George was more focused on what to do next with Dream and not even noticing that Sapnap was with Karl at the cafe.

It had started raining. Thunder clouds appeared out of no where.

They both still had not decided on what to do next.

George leaned forward to look through the windshield.

"Well it is now pouring outside," George said still looking at the rain drops.

"I have an idea," Dream said starting the car. George put his seatbelt back on as Dream pulled out of the parking lot.

George just looked at the window imaging the raindrops were having a race.

"Darn it!" George said breaking the silence.

"What?" Dream asked George.

"My guy didn't win," George said slouching his shoulders a bit in disappointment.

"Who..?" George said laughing a bit. "My raindrop!!" George said flaring his hands in the air.

Dream was confused but laughed it off.

George noticed that the more the drove the less cars he saw. Dream pulled into another parking lot. This one was different; it was empty. There was no one around. It was at one of those trail parks.

"Where are we?" George said trying to recognize his surroundings.

"We are in an empty parking lot, with no one to see us". Dream said smiling. George's eyes widened, "Uh..haha..what?" George said tensing up a little.

"No no, I mean, just watch." Dream said grabbing his phone.

George saw Dream was connecting his phone to the car's Bluetooth. Dream went to the Spotify and starting playing a playlist called Dancing In The Rain.

The old rundown park they were at, had one light post in the parking lot. Dream parked by the light so they had light.

It was around super time.

Dream turned on all the cars lights then opened his door. "You gonna join me?" Dream said stepping out of the car.

George hopped out walking in the pouring rain to Dream.

Dream turned up the music to full volume.

George's hair was already dripping water.

As Dream turned facing George the song, "Perfect" -by Ed Sheeran started playing.

George started laughing a bit standing in-front of Dream. He had never danced in the rain he didn't know what to do.

Dream grabbed George by the hand and ran through the rain and under the street light.

Both of them drenched with water. Dream put one hand on George's waist and pulled him closer. George's body was against his.

Dream look down on George, George leaned onto Dream's chest hugging him back.

They swayed back and forth to the song.

"Darling you look perfect" Dream whispered to George. George looked up into Dream's eyes. Dream starred back into George's eyes.

Dream put his hand in George's and spun George around. A little twirl.

George was caught by surprise and tripped. Dream was there to catch George.

"Woa- aa" George said falling. He closed his eyes expecting to hit the ground. He opened his eyes to see Dream's arms pulling him back up.

"Don't fall for me just yet," Dream said pulling him back up into his arms once again.

George smiled wrapping his arms around Dream's neck. Their heads almost touching.

Dream put his hands on George's waist pulling his body even closer to his. George looked into Dream's eyes with cheerfully.

Then they kissed. It was a long and passionate kiss.

The rain still falling down on them. The music in the background. The yellow old light shining down on them.

The moment was perfect.

George forgot about everything and lived in the moment.

Dream pulled away and pick George up. George wrapped his legs around Dream with his hands still around Dream's neck.

Dream spun them in a circle slowly hugging close to George. George lifted Dream's head with both hands.

Dream gazed into George's eyes, his eyes were slightly coved by his wet wavy hair.

He leaned down and kissed Dream once more.

As they kissed a car pulled into he parking lot.

They both didn't notice. It was a couple.

George and Dream kept the long soft kiss going not noticing.

The people who had entered the parking lot thought it was cute. They pulled out their phone and took a short video of Dream turning slowly in the rain while kissing George with the music in the background.

"Ah that is so sweet," The girl said to the boy driving the car. "yeah it is, we can find a different parking lot." The boy said pulling out of the parking lot. As they left the girl posted the short video on her insta story.

The caption said, "OMG THIS COUPLE IS SO CUTE!!"

Dream and George pulled away. George flung his arms and head out in the rain while Dream held him up.

Dream put George down after a few more minutes of slow spins.

They slow danced for a a little longer.

George shivered.

"Ready to head home Angel?" Dream said hugging George. "Y-yes I'm getting cold." George said leaving the hug.

They both got back in the car turning down the music.

"Can we go back to my apartment?" Dream said starting the car. "Yes we can," George said wrapping a towel around himself; Dream had given him.

"Dream, thank you. You make me feel like the prettiest boy on the earth when I'm with you."George said softly getting a bit tired."That's because you are."
