stan's pov

i drove to my house as quickly as i can. my father and i never had the best relationship. but it kids have had worse relationships. i'm still grateful that he's not the worst. 

i walk into my house and i was ready for the worst to happen. i had came up with many bad things that could happen.

"where have you been, stanley?" my father asked without even looking up from his newspaper. 

"i went out to a diner called oasis with my friends." i made up a lie in the car so i wouldn't be caught at bill's. yeah, my parents don't mind. but if they find out i'm always there, almost living there, their gonna now were dating. and that would be a problem because my father is a big homophobe. see the problem?

my father just hummed a response and i took that as an "okay".

i walked up to my room and closed the door.

i turned off my phone and grabbed my tv remote. i turned on my tv. 

what should i watch?

i looked at movies on netflix. finally, i found a good movie. i clicked on the kissing booth to watch it.
