Danielle pov:
I arrive at my trailer and decide to rest a few minutes before the table read. I can't wait to meet my new co-worker, I'm so excited. I get up and close the door behind me, Grey joins me and we make our way to the room where everyone is. We always got along really well and we laugh so much together, but I'm happy with this change for Maya.
I sit in my seat and start talking with Jaina."So ?! Have you seen her?"she asked me. "No not yet" I replied lost in my thoughts. "Wait what ?! HER ?! "I said. I didn't expect my new co-worker to be a girl..."Oh I see you didn't know" Jaina said with a chuckle.
"While we wait for the last people..." Krista was interrupted."Oh hi! I'm sorry for the late arrival" A tall brunette says out of breath after obviously running to arrive on time. "Hi Stefania, don't worry we were about to start, you can sit next to Danielle "the older woman says . Stefania come and sit next to me. I'm hypnotized by her beauty, lost looking at her, she takes me out of my thoughts. "Buongiorno, I'm Stefania" She says with the most beautiful Italian accent. She's stunning and ... when I realize I still haven't answered her. "Hi I - .. I'm Danielle, nice too meet you!" I answer.
"Now that we're all here, we can start, but first I want to welcome Stefania who plays Dr Deluca in Grey's Anatomy. And now also Maya's new love interest." Krista says. I can't believe it's her. I look at her and I realize that she is already looking at me. Not daring to meet his gaze, I focus on my sheets.
While reading the other scenes I can feel his gaze resting on me several times. And I'm trying to not looking at this gorgeous Italian actress. But I can't...
It's our turn to do our scene.
"White wine.....maybe not"
Stefania and I are reading our lines. We are done and we remain in a comfortable silence staring into each other's eyes.
After a suspended moment, everyone is applauding us. "Waw that was amazing girls! The chemistry was insane!" Krista says to both of us. We are in the process of finishing reading the following scenes.
"Okay everyone it was a very good job, see you next week on set !" The older woman says.
Troubled by this moment exchanged with Stefania, I run out of the room to my trailer. As I run my tears don't stop pouring when I hear Jaina running after me.
"Ehhh Danielle what's going on? "She said hugging me." Nobody understands Dani, why did you leave like that? " She asks to me still in tears.
"I- I don't know I feel sick" I try to answer so that she leaves me.
"Okay I don't trust you but if you want me to leave I understand, but don't forget I'm here for you!" She says smiling to me. "Thank you Jaina !" I answer quietly.
I stay in my trailer, on the couch in tears. When someone knocks on the door. "It's open" I says trying to stop my tears. When the door opens I see Stefania, her hair perfectly groomed with her beautiful smile.
"Hi bambina, are you okay ? I saw you running away and ... oh Danielle why are you crying? "She says coming and sitting close to me. "I'm fine, don't w-...worry" I say collapsing into his arms. "Breathe" she says hugging me to calm me down, her hand on my back.
We stand there for a moment, and I feel I'm starting to calm me down in his arms. Her touch is so amazing, I feel chills all over my body when her hand comes to wipe my tears."Do you want to talk about it? I can call Jaina and Barrett and ask them to come to talk with you if you want "she says letting go of me at the same time.
And suddenly I just feel the emptiness next to me. I just wish she would keep me in her arms one more time. And when she gets up I feel panic take hold of me and tears return."Stay" I say so low that she can't hear it. "What did you say?" She asks me. "Stay, stay with me please" I say louder so that she can hear me.
"Oooh bella I'm here for you I'm not leaving" she answers taking my hand in her's . "Come here" She opens her arms so that I can come and make myself comfortable there and then starts playing with my hair.
I could stay in her arms for hours ...
