*Juneau's POV*

I wake up with a massive headache and when I try to sit up, I feel something heavy preventing me from moving. I look down and see Princess is laying on my chest. I smile as I can smell her scent and it confirms that she is my mate. I will be here for her and I will protect her, but I don't think I can go any further than that. I can't risk losing her so I will never mark her. Not marking her will keep her safe. I move her and she shifts over and goes back to sleep and I make my way to the porch outside when I see Josh and Rin pull up in a truck with Megan.

I go down the ladder and walk towards them, "what kind of fucking spell did you use on me? My head is pounding like crazy." Rin walks up to me and gives me a hug then pulls away to look at me, "I just mind controlled you a little that's all," she chuckles while I pull her into a hug and nod my head to Josh. "She did good you know. She shifted in about 2 hours and 45 minutes," Josh says, and I look in the direction of the house. I smile a bit and look towards Megan, "so I hear my dad is throwing a party for her shifting?" Megan nods her head, "yeah I brought the truck so you all can go back home and get your clothes. It shouldn't take you long to get there if you leave now.

I look back in the direction of the house where my mate is, "let me go get a shirt and my phone. I'll be right back," I say as I pull away from Rin and climb up the ladder. I walk in and see that our mate is still asleep, so I walk over and whisper in her ear. "I'll be back later tonight my love. I have to go get ready for your big day; I'll see you when I get back. I prefer silver on you since you stole my silver flannel so much," I say, and I place a small kiss on her forehead before grabbing my shirt and phone. I walk to the kitchen and grab a pen and pad. I write down where I am and when I will be back.

I walk back out and down the ladder to see Rin and Josh in the car. Megan walks up to me, "I'll stay here till she wakes up, so she isn't by herself," I nod to Megan and give her a quick hug before I get in the driver side and start to drive off. Before I even move the car, out of the review mirror I see her. I see her climbing down the ladder and running to the car, I look over at Rin and look at Josh. They both nod their heads and that's when I put the car in park and get out of the car. She runs into my arms and warps her legs around my waist, burying her face in my neck. Her scent is so addicting I love it. "I thought you were sleeping?" I ask and she nods her head, "I was but when I woke up, I saw the note and I was hoping to catch you in time before you left." She is still clinging to me when she looks at me inches from my face. "Well, you did catch me. I didn't even get the car in drive," I say with a small smile.

"I have to go princess. I need to get back to my pack," as I say that she tightens her grip on me. I laugh a bit and call Megan over to get her off me so I can leave. "No, I don't want to let you go. I want to go with you," I hear Rain say and what I do next stops her and relaxes her. I grab her face and bring her into a kiss. She doesn't waste any time in kissing me back, wrapping her arms around my neck. She has to be on her tippy toes to be able to kiss me, which I find adorable.

I pull away even though I don't want to, I look at her face and she is looking at me with a pout. "I will be back soon don't worry princess," I say as Megan grabs her by the waist and holds on to her so I can get in my truck. I look back once last time before I get in my truck and drive off. As I am driving, I look in my mirror and see her there with a sad expression on her face. I feel a pain in my chest, but I know it won't be long till I am back with her and my wolf can be calm again.

After about five hours of driving, I finally reach my cabin at the top of the hill. As I pull in closer, I see Anya waiting walking outside towards us. "OMG! You are alive. I thought you were dead or something," she says as she laughs a bit and gives me a hug. I roll my eyes at her and ask if she got the suit out for me. She nods her head, "yes Jun I did. It's on your bed ready for you to wear, as well as your tux as well Josh," I nod my head and walk inside. Josh thanks Anya for getting his out as well. "Rin your dress is hanging so it doesn't get wrinkly," Rin nods her head thanking Anya and walks towards her room.
