Haru: Theres no way you actually can.
Me: I swear! Hold on let me take a picture.
-You sent an image to Haru-Haru: Well damn, you can touch your nose with your tongue.
Me: It's my only talent and I do not take it lightly to be doubted!
Haru: You're cute. Brb Yuki is here.
Me: Okay :)
I smiled to my phone, closing it and hugging it to my chest. The weekend had come, and I stayed at home. But I honestly didn't mind, because it was Saturday and so far I've spent the entire day just texting with Haru.
The way he texts was honestly the same as how he acted in person. He always spoke so cool and was a little simple. I liked it. And he would keep randomly calling me cute...it makes my heart beat so much. To know someone actually thinks that of me.
But of course, I wouldn't be foolish enough to actually fall for him. It's bad enough I know of the curse, but what if I made things worse for Momiji by falling for Haru, what if I got both of them in trouble? I wouldn't want to imagine the kind of punishments they'd receive. Regardless, being their friend is enough for me. Knowing I have people there for me for the first time.
Bzzt Bzzt
My phone buzzed, and I quickly opened to see Haru had sent a selfie of him and Yuki.
Haru: Didn't know I signed up to have a mom and cousin at the same time
Me: oh?
Haru: Yuki acts just like a worried mother, it's cute. I don't deserve him.
Me: Don't say that, you deserve the best, Hatsuharu.
Haru: Woah, don't pull my full name out on me now...Thanks.
Me: don't mention it, but I'm serious. Cause if that were the case then I don't deserve you.
Haru: does anyone though? I'm pretty great.
I couldn't help but to laugh a bit loudly. This dork. I began typing out my response, when my door opened.
"Y/n, are you planning to study today? You've been up here giggling for hours."
"Yeah mom I'll get to it."
"Was that sass?"
I sighed, and shook my head. "No ma'am."
I didn't look her way, and I'm pretty sure it ticked her off. And I only say that because she walked over and snatched my phone from my hands.
"Mom!"
"You can have it back tomorrow. You know better young lady, if I need to I will cancel your phone plan so that you can't talk to anyone at all. Be happy I'm even allowing you to have friends."
"Why?! Why am I lucky to be able to do normal teenage things?!" I stood up, glaring to her. She widened her eyes, and then scoffed.
"You should feel lucky that your father and I have been able to get you into such a prestigious school!"
"Oh wow I'm sooooo lucky that I've spent the last sixteen years of my life as the antisocial book nerd who was too good to have friends! I don't wanna go to that stupid school! That's not what I want!"
