Dream stared at the two teens in front of her. They were very much different from the other Tubbo and Ranboo. Very different.
This Ranboo was just a regular endermen and didn't seem as awkward and nervous as the other Ranboo. He wore a purple trench coat with grey outlines and purple pants to match. Plus purple boots as well. He also had a few gold earrings in his ear.
This Tubbo was a bee. He had the antenna and the wings but no stinger. He wore a yellow and brown striped shirt with overalls and black shoes. He seemed very cute but he also seemed more unhinged than Dream's other Tubbo.
God that was confusing.
"Uh, miss?" Dream blinked. She was staring at them a bit too hard it seems. Dream decided to stay silent but tried gesturing. Dream made a hand motion as if indicating talking and pointed to her throat. Then she moved her hand in a'' so-so" motion, indicating that something wasn't very reliable.
"You don't want to talk?" Tubbo asked, disappointment laced in his tone. Dream rapidly shook her head no. She repeated the gestures again, but exaggerated a bit more. Dream felt a little slow.
"You can't talk?" Ranboo offered. Dream looked at Ranboo and made another "so-so" motion with her hand. Ranboo tilted his head for a moment. He looked like a cat almost.
"You can't talk very well?" Ranboo said. Dream nodded at the taller hybrid. Ranboo smiled victoriously. Dream couldn't help but chuckle at the endermen hybrid. He was such a dork.
"That's fine! We can work something out!" Tubbo said with a large smile. Dream smiled softly at the two. She really shouldn't do this but...
Dream opened the door wider and beckoned them inside. The two hybrids perked up and dashed inside. Dream huffed in amusement. Those two get along in whatever universe, it's cute.
"Oh my god Ranboo, look! It's a baby panda hybrid!" Tubbo said, looking at the crib where Luca was. The baby was looking at them curiously and standing in his crib.
"Miss! How old is he?" Dream raised up seven fingers.
"Seven months?" Ranboo questioned. Dream nodded. The village doctor said the baby was about six months when she first found him. It has been a month since then.
"He's so cute! What's his name?! Actually we didn't get your name either. What are both your names?!" Tubbo asked energetically. Dream huffed. She could probably use hand gestures to get her name across but not Luca's. So she moved her hand as if trying to write.
"Writing?...You need something to write with?" Tubbo asked. Dream nodded. Ranboo went into his inventory and pulled out some paper and a pencil. Dream immediately started writing then showed the two the paper.
"Dream and Luca? You have a pretty name Dream!" Tubbo said. Dream flushed a little and smiled gratuitously while Tubbo started up a conversation.
Ranboo looked around some and noticed how...little the older women had. It may be for a personal reason so he didn't bring it up. He looked at Dream. Tubbo was talking to Dream and the woman just nodded along. Luca was in her arms playing with a strand of her hair. She looked ok but Ranboo noticed her posture was a little tense. Like she was afraid they would do something. Why? They never met before. Sure they were strangers but her form was more tense than it should be. So why was she tensing up so bad? Ranboo assumed Tubbo probably noticed as well. His posture was relaxed and the atmosphere around him seemed approachable. Ranboo decided to join in. It wouldn't be good if she only got used to Tubbo and didn't relax around him.
The three ended up talking for a while. Dream even made dinner for them. Mushroom stew with some buttered bread. She also baked cookies and packed some for the two to take with them. It was simple but the two teens seemed to enjoy the food so much. Dream was happy, they were satisfied.
