Asta and I were walking out of the castle, Markz said the King couldn't join us. we said we'd be back later "Hey Asta" 'I'd know that sarcastic ass voice anywhere' I turned around "Hey Kayd" Asta waved "Hey Yuno, what's up?" "Nothing really just patrolling" I grabbed Asta "Let's go" Asta waved again "Hey wait!" Yuno chased after us "Hey Asta hold on" He nodded and grabbed onto me, we flew through the air looking for Finral

"Why'd you leave Yuno like that?" Asta looked at me "Because he did something wrong now he's trying to fix it" Asta was more confused "What'd he do?" I sighed "He said"

"If you actually beat Asta and I, wouldn't that mean you'd be the Wizard Queen"

He laughed a little after, it ticked me off and then I punched him" I smiled like Koro-sensei (Rip😭) "Should we tell our squad?" I shook my head "They'd want to kill him" I laughed "Well duh! No one says that and gets away with it, not even Yuno!!" Asta clenched his fists

After a bit of flying we landed in front of the Black Bull hideout "Remember, do not tell the squad!" I looked at Asta, he nodded then we headed inside. Everyone looked at us "So where'd you go?" Magna asked "The Capitol! Then we went to see the Wizard King, he asked about our power and we showed him and-" I shot of pain went through our bodies "Where the hell were you..." Captain Yami was crushing our skulls "W-we ran into trouble?" I said stuttering. Yami turned to Asta "Mind telling me the truth?" He held tighter "WeranawayfronyunobecausehedidareallybadthingtokaydbutkaydwontforgivehimsoYunoistryingtoapologize" Yami let go of us .

Yami turned to me "What did Mr.Cocky say?" I sighed "he said that if I actually beat him and Asta that'd mean I'd be... The Wizard Queen.." Literally everyone turned to me "That punk!" "I'll give him a taste of my lightning" "Maybe I should choke him with my threads" "As long as he doesn't talk about Marie I don't care" "I'll kill him with delicious food" Everyone was just threatening him 'I don't think they'll do anything really- hopefully' I sighed "it isn't a big deal" And started walking to my room "And don't bother bringing any food to me Charmy" I closed my door afterwards

"What are we going to do?" Magna looked at everyone "What do you mean?" Asta looked at Magna "I mean don't we have to do something about this boy?" "Didn't you just hear him? He sa-" Yami stood up "Stop blabbering, Asta you go comfort him" Asta nodded and ran towards Kayd's room "Magna go teach Mr.Cocky a lesson about messing with our Squadmates" He cracked his knuckles "oh oh! Captain can I go? I can give him a really good lesson" Luck jumped up and down "No, you'll end up killing him--" Luck frowned "Finee"

Thunk!

"What is that?" I sat up from my bed Thunk!!
"huh?" I looked out the window opening it.

It was a rock and I caught it "What the fu- Yuno!?!" He used his magic to fly to my window "Shut up! I'm only here to apologize" I rolled my eyes and started closing my window "Hey! Don't you dare close that-" I flipped him off (badass🧓🏽) "I don't want your apology after saying that.." I turned away and said something I've never said before

"I hate you so much!"

He looked surprised "You? Hate me?" He laughed "I despise you, blind freak how'd you even become a magic knight!?" He laughed more..the next thing really hurt me "Captain Yami must've felt sorry, ha! You probably weren't supposed to be even born! Let alone have spirit magic" Cold tears ran down my cheek "Asta's better than you and he doesn't even have magic!" I felt more tear rushing down. "You're right Asta is better than me.." "Huh?" Yuno felt a shot of guilt through his body when he saw me crying

" But that doesn't mean I'm not giving up! I will be the Wizard King "

I was so angry I had no control over my body, so i- "Spirit magic: devil's flame!" A burst of dark red fire spewed at Yuno, he backed away "Don't talk to me!!" I slammed the window close and finished crying myself to sleep.

~The next morning~

"Knock knock" I got up still a bit tired "Come in" I grabbed my blanket "Ready for morning traini-" Asta looked at me "What happened!?" I sighed "nothing happened"
"Alright..whatever you say I guess" I smiled "let's go train!" I winked and ran out the room "Fire creation magic: inferno wings!" Fires formed behind me looking like wings, once we reached the exit I made a pair for Asta and we flew to our training site.

~After Flying~

"Ready?" Asta took his sword out, I nodded "Fire Creation Magic: Fire Golems of Hell" A dozen or so Golems formed in front of Asta, this way he can work on his swordsmanship and I can practice my fire magic. You may think 'why not ask Magna' well Magna may be my superior in rank, but not magic- "Hey! Kay give me some more" Asta looked back at me "Ok I'll use all my magic for this one!" He nodded "Fire Creation Magic: Satan's Twin Golem!" A huge golem formed it was very tall and had black horns "Alright!!" Asta jumped as high as he could-

And tried to slice the golem, it dodged and attacked Asta landing a few burns on his skin. 'I can't keep up a spell like this..' I sighed and tried to contain the magic, Asta finally landed a strike- how did I know? Cause I heard the golem cry in pain. 'Don't give up don't give up don't give up don't give up don't-' "Shit!" I fell to the ground hitting my head. I think something bit me because I heard ringing in my ear..

"Asta.."
"Kayd! Stay with me now!"

I passed out the last thing I heard was
"You'll be ok! I'm here.."
