"(Last name)-san, will you be my friend?" Giyuu asked (Name) adorably, his big blue eyes staring at her hopefully.

The children at the other tables watched closely. Even the Hashiras were speechless, and were awaiting for (Name)'s answer.

There's no way she would want to be friends with a kid like Giyuu.

He was naturally unlikable.

"Of course you can Giyuu! Call me (Name), since we're friends now!" (Name) cheered happily, his cuteness was getting to her.

"EHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!?????"

For the first time since Giyuu arrived at the adoption center, he let a happy smile come to his face as he scrambled to take a seat beside (Name). She helped him a bit, and the two of them began to talk about their interests and hobbies.

(Name) even showed him her phone and the two were exploring Netflix - Giyuu wanted to watch Pokemon. 

"WHAAAATTTT!?!?!" the Hashira's jaws dropped.

Giyuu has a friend now?!

Why do they feel so angry that he has a friend now?

Kaguya then came up to them, and they sweated as they knew what was coming next. Sanemi tried to walk away, but Kaguya's shadow loomed over him and he gulped.

Giyuu and (Name) were happily finishing their lunch as the boy seemed to open up to her. He was chowing down on his pasta, as his little legs swung up and down with joy.

Maybe (Name) was different from the other caretakers. 

Not one of them seemed to like nor acknowledge him when they were in groups, and Giyuu was often forgotten.

Especially when they went to the theatres one time, and the caretaker from before left with everyone else, while Giyuu was still in the bathroom.

Though his face dropped emotionlessly when Sanemi arrived, with Kaguya standing behind him.

"I-I..." Sanemi sniffled, as Kaguya placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I SORRY I HURT YOU TOMIOKA!!" Sanemi blurted out, feeling tortured that he's being forced to do this.

He didn't mean his apology. He just wanted to make a good impression in front of Kaguya and even (Name).

He then turned to (Name).

"I SORRY FOR CALLING YOU UGLY, YOU'RE REALLY PWETTY!!" he blushed before running into the bathroom to compose himself.

(Name) blinked before she let out a little giggle. Giyuu rolled his eyes and sipped his juice box with a blank expression.

The Hashira's on their table started to laugh like crazy as they've never seen Sanemi like that before. Kaguya didn't even mention apologizing to (Name), but for some reason Sanemi did.

"Well, that certainly was interesting." Kaguya laughed. "(Name), can you help us tidy the tables up? It seems like the children have finished eating."

"Of course!" she agreed happily.

(Name) and the Ubuyashikis cleaned the tables while the Hashiras stood at the side and played. The other children who were present stayed far away from them along with their caretakers.

It came upon (Name) that taking care of 8 children alone was pretty exhausting. Though there were some good moments with them.

Giyuu followed her everywhere, even helping her stack the plates and wash the dishes. (Name)'s heart jumped when he held her hand with his small one.
