"okay, fine. i did force her to." childe looked at your tired state. "you can sleep in the car, but we've gotta go."

"oh, uh. i've got some things to do.."
"oh come on beidou. please, you gotta have a break too."

"i mean- i can go, if i'm no bother." beidou tried to hide her excitement on going out.
"come on, it's a far drive. 3 hours on the road with this piece of deliciousness."
"you know what beidou, how about a private trip. without him?"
"that sounds amazing. i'd love to." she smiled over at you.
"now what the hell is this? betrayal, i think so." childe put his hand over his chest. "thought you were bestie, now you're just pesky." you and beidou chuckled over his sarcasm.

childe was in the front seat, setting another playlist. while you were tiredly staying awake. road trips always made you tired, especially when childe is draining your energy even more.
