I pulled Draco, now fully clothed, out into the common room and we began planning her birthday. It was two days away but I wanted it to be perfect.
"Ok so what do we need to do?" I asked him.
"Sure."
"Are you paying attention?"
"Yeah, that sounds cool" he mumbled, still half asleep.
I rolled my eyes and conjured a bucket full of water. "Don't make me use it!" I warned.
"I don't know..."
I rolled my eyes and thee the water at him.
"BLOODY HELL!" He screamed, standing up suddenly. "Why am I wet?!" He looked at me sitting there, smiling like a cheshire cat. "LYRIC!!"
I batted my eyes innocently. "Yes?"
He sighed and did a spell to make himself dry. "I hate you."
"Aww I love you too Draco." I said sarcastically. "What are we going to do for her birthday?"
"We can take her to a restaurant and then we can go do that muggle thing that involves a heavy ball and some white sticks" he suggested.
"Knowing that it's called 'bowling' won't make you any less of a pureblood" I said rolling my eyes. "But nevertheless, it is a good idea."
"Ok so now that we're done here, what are we gonna do at 7:00?"
"Breakfast, duh" I said.
"It's not open until half an hour."
"Then we go to the kitchens!" I exclaimed dramatically.
I looked my arm through his and skipped to the kitchen singing "We're off the see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of OZ."
"What's OZ?" Draco asked me once we got there.
I shrugged. "A place."
"Is it real?"
"Probably not."
We went in and were greeted by Smiley. "Hello Ms. Weasley, Mr. Malfoy."
I stiffened. "I'm Lyric Ashlow." I said, emphasizing my last name. "Yes of course, my bad." Smiley said, smiling mischievously. "How can I be of service?"
"Some breakfast please" I said.
"I'll have an apple" Draco said.
"Of course you would" I said, rolling my eyes.
They came back with and apple and some toast and hot chocolate. This was my favorite breakfast.
"Thank you so much!" I told them, leaving the kitchen with Draco.
"What time is it?" I asked him.
"I'm not sure but around 7:30, seeing all of the people here."
The hallway was starting to fill up already. "C'mon, let's find Bianca, Astoria, and Jolie." I said, tugging his wrist.
To be honest, I never wanted to let go of his hand. If I didn't know him, I would still stalk him all day. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a romantic walk between two people but only one person is aware of it.
"There they are!" I said. I pulled him through the crowd until we reached them.
"Hey guys, where were you?" Jolie asked.
"I woke up early and threw a bucket of cold water on Draco so we went to get breakfast at the kitchen." I explained, leaving out the part where we were planning Bianca's birthday.
"Ooooh, a breakfast date, how romantic!" Astoria said dramatically placing her hand on her heart.
"I wasn't a date" I countered.
"Then why are you holding his hand?" She said, one eyebrow raised.
I quickly let go of his hand, blushing.
"Since we ate, we'll meet you back at the common room before class" I told them.
"Lyric are you ok?" he asked me for the millionth time.
"I'm fine." I sat down on the hard couch and Draco sat next to me. "Do you want to talk about it?"
I sighed. "My name isn't Lyric Ashlow." I admitted.
I heard him take a deep breath. "What is it?"
"I-I'm Viera Weasley. I got disowned when I was sorted into Slytherin but please! You can't tell anyone!"
"I promise" he said and I nodded.
"So you won't tell?"
"Never."
"Promise me again." I said biting my lip.
"I promise" he said.
And then, he kissed me.
