"Jenny, your place is beautiful." Kaylee gasps as they take in her beautifully decorated apartment.
"Thank you," Jenny smiles. "I'm slightly anal." She says playfully. "By that I mean clinically ocd."
"Is it just you who lives here?" Danielle asks curiously as Jenny guides them through her apartment.
"Well-"
She's cut off when Quincy gasps and runs over to music room, the door was slightly open and he caught a glimpse of it.
"Wow! This is amazing." He says in shock, taking in the recording equipment, guitars, piano, keyboard and notepads scattered all over the floor with song lyrics written in them.
As they other inspect the room, Jenny watches nervously, she knows her daughter doesn't like people in there too much.
"These lyrics are beautiful." Chris says and looks at Jenny. "Did you write these?"
"No, I didn't." Jenny shakes her head.
"Then who did?" Lulu asks with a tilted head, genuinely interested.
"My daughter." Jenny replies.
Everyone freezes and turns to look at Jenny in shock.
"You have a daughter?" Kaylee asks with wide eyes.
Jenny shuffles uncomfortably on her feet, not liking the judgemental looks she's getting. "Uh, yeah."
"...How old is she?" Danielle asks.
"16." Jenny answers.
"16? Is she adopted?" Peyton asks, no judgement in his voice.
"No, she's mine. Something happened to me when I was 13, and I gave birth to her when I was 14." Jenny tells them. "I'm not some slut who got knocked up at such a young age, it was against my consent."
"We didn't mean to come across as judgemental, it was just a shock." Kaylee says kindly and grabs her friends hand. "What's her name?"
"Y/N." Jenny smiles. "She's the light of my life and I hope you all really like her."
"I'm sure we will." Aria reassures. "When can we meet her?"
"She'll be home from school soon-"
"Mom, I'm home!" You call out as you step into the apartment.
Jenny ushers her friends out of your music room and guides them back through the apartment.
"Hi, baby." She greets and wraps her arms around you gently, kissing your forehead. "How was your day?"
"It was ok. Just long and boring." You say and pull away from the hug, smiling up at her.
Jenny smiles back and kisses your head again before wrapping her arm over your shoulder and turning you to face her friends. Your face flashes in surprise at the extra 7 people standing there.
"Y/N, these are my new cast mates: Danielle, Kaylee, Lulu, Quincy, Peyton, Chris and Aria. Guys, this is my daughter, Y/N." Jenny introduces.
"Hi." You greet with a small smile, your eyes meeting Kaylee's and you feel a shiver go down your spine. You blush and break eye contact with her.
"It's lovely to meet you, Y/N." Danielle says politely.
"Like wise." You reply politely.
"Your Mom tells us your a song writer," Quincy says which makes you look at him with a smile. "I write too."
