"I don't understand? You and Kaylee really hit it off. What happened?" Your Mom asks as you both binge over Chinese food.

"We're cool, Mom." You brush it off.

"Don't lie to me, young lady- hmph!" She squeaks in surprise when you shove a spring roll in her mouth.

"Try these. They're really good." You grin at her.

Jenny rolls her pulls and pulls the food out of her mouth. "Baby, you'd tell me if there was something bothering you, right?"

"Yeah. But there's nothing to tell." You say.

"Mhm." She hums sarcastically. "I know when you're hiding something from me, Y/N. Just like that time when you hid a family of mice in your closet when you were 6, and you tried to tell me it was just your clothes trying to escape when I asked what the scratching noise was."

"Hey, Mickey and Minnie needed a place for their babies to sleep." You defend with a pout.

Jenny chuckles. "Well Mickey and Minnie ate through all of your clothes."

"Eh, whatever."

"Ok, come on. What's going on with you?" Your Mom asks again.

"Nothing." You groan. "Can you please just drop it?"

"Fine, just for tonight. But I will find out what's going on." She warns.

"Yeah yeah, whatever."

"Oh, before I forget, the cast are coming over tomorrow for dinner." Jenny says.

"Ok...is Kaylee coming?" You hesitantly ask.

"Yup. That okay?"

"Yeah, of course." You lie with a fake smile, your mind drifting back to the last time you saw her.

"You're so hiding something from me." Jenny scoffs and throws a chip at you.

"Can you prove it? No? Then shut up." You say playfully. "Anyways, you're hiding something from me too."

"What? No I'm not." She says and chuckles nervously.

"Uh huh. So you and Lulu aren't sharing kisses in her dressing room?" You ask with a smirk.

Jenny blushes deeply. "W-What? No we're not- who told you that?"

You smirk at her. "I have my sources."

"Fucking Danielle, that little gossip." Jenny grumbles which makes you laugh.

"Mom, it's ok to date." You say.

"I know, it's just the last time I dated-"

"Mom, the guy was an ass. He called you fat for no reason, he shouted at you, he cheated god knows how many times, and he tried to sell me to one of his friends." You chuckle. "They won't all be like that. Lulu won't be like that, she's perfect for you."

Your Mom sighs quietly. "I don't know."

"Oh, come on. Just go on a date with her, what's the worst that could happen?"

"I could end up liking her."

"What's so bad about that?" You ask.

"Finish your food." Your Mom huffs and turns the volume up on the tv.

You smirk knowingly at your Mom who ignores you.

"Mrs Jenny Antariksa." You say in a sing sing voice.
