"Where is Kentrell?" I asked with an attitude. The baby shower starts in like an hour , and he's nowhere to be found.
"I'm here , damn." I heard him speak making me roll my eyes. "About time." I mumbled before walking off.
I sat in the back on my phone , until I got a FaceTime call from kaydence. kaydence was the dude from the grocery store that I had ran in to.
I ran into him like two other times while I was there , and we ended up talking. He seemed cool , so we exchanged numbers.
We're just friends. He's a really nice guy.
"Hey." I smiled in the camera. "Hey." He spoke. "I know yo baby shower is today , and I got a gift , but I can't make it. I gotta go to work." He said making me nod.
"It's fine." I spoke.
Guess where he work. Big dope dealer money , he was getting some coin 😏.

"Actually, I might be able to swing through, and drop off this gift." He said making me smile. "Ok , I'll send you the address." I explained making him nod.
"Aight see you then." I asserted before hanging up. "Why is the tension between y'all two so thick?" Dai walked in.
"Who?" I raised an eyebrow. "You , abc Kentrell. I remember when y'all couldn't keep ya hands to yaself, and now y'all barely said 2 words to each other." She chuckled.
"We broke up." I said making her smile falter. "Oh , my b-" I cut her off by raising my hand. "It's fine." I shrugged , putting away my phone.
"Well a lot o people are showing up , I think you should come on out." She said causing me to nod as I stood up.
"One more thing." She told me. "What?" I questioned. "Clover , and Dior wanted to come." She spoke real fast before biting her nails.
"There already here?" I asked making her nod. I sighed before making my way out the room.
I spotted clover , Dior , Jeremiah, and his parents sitting at a table. Jeremiah seen me , and made his way over to me.
"So you couldn't tell me you was pregnant?" He asked , pulling me into a hug. "Well you know now don't you?" I giggled making him nudge me playfully.
"What's up with you?" I asked as we sat at a different table. "Nothing. Same shit." He shrugged.
"Aye , real talk tho, I want you to stay away from Clover ,and my sister's. They up to no good. Since when Dior like you? And since when dai , and Dior get so close?" He said causing me to think about it.
He was right. It's as a adding up. Why they all wanna show up years later? I haven't talked to clover since high school.
And Dai has been acting weird.
Idk , everyone's been acting weird.
I just nodded in response. I sighed , resting my head on my arm. He patted my shoulder before standing up , and walking to the dessert table.

I got up , and followed him to the dessert table , and grabbed a cupcake.
"Hey." Someone spoke. Hearing that voice just made me nauseous.
I turned around, and seen clover. "Why are you here?" I questioned.
"I know your still mad about what happened , but y'all are together now. So there's nothing to worry about. Plus your having his baby." She smiled.
Little does she know...
I hummed in Response before turning my attention to Kentrell that was walking towards me with a mug.
I turned the other way , and began to walk off before I was pulled back by him.
"Why this lightskin ass nigga pulled up with a gift for you." He said making me frown.
"Where is he?" I asked. "Waiting in the front." He spoke. I tried to walk towards the front, but he grabbed my arm again.
"Who is he?" He stared down at me. "His name is kaydence." Was all I said before snatching my arm away , an walking away.
I spotted kaydence talking to maverick making me smile. "hey." I caught his attention.
He smiled back at me , before giving me a side hug.
He had his hair in braids , and I thought it made him look cuter.
