I left the great hall swiftly as I was still a little upset about the Harry situation. The hallways were filled with all the years trying to get to their classes. I wasn't in the best mood, so I pushed past people. I had my books in my hand, clenching them tight towards my chest. Potions was one the farthest classes. I wasn't sure what houses I had it with. I almost made it to the stairs when I rammed right into a tall figure. My books scattered across the floor. I bent down to get my books and needed to rush to the dark classroom as soon as possible.
'Hey, Abi. I'm so sorry I didn't see you there. Let me pick it up." The familiar voice said to me as he grabbed me to pull me up. I was in a panic trying to keep my cool. Harry bent over to pick up my books and gave them to me.
"Thanks." I said, heading towards the stairs, but that same hand grabbed my arm. I looked back to look into his blue eyes.
"How are you?" Harry asked. "And I'm sorry for leaving you at breakfast. I- I had some important business to attend to."
He can't be serious, business? We haven't even started classes yet. I looked at him emotionless, making his smile fade.
"I'm fine. I have to get to my class if you don't mind." I said with a cold tone in my voice, Harry let my arm go. I winced at the tone I used. That wasn't like me at all. I hurried down the stairs to enter Snape's classroom. I never really liked potions, nor was I amazing at it. When I got there, the classroom was half filled. There was one empty table with no one at it. I grabbed the seat and started reading my new book I got from the muggle store.
"Attention." Snape said in his sharp tone. "Turn to page 202."
I looked up from my book to see if he noticed I wasn't looking at him. He didn't. That would have been close. I turned to my left to get my potions book and gasped. Harry was sitting right next to me. Well this is going to go well I thought to myself.
"Jesus Harry, don't scare me like that." I whispered to him. I grabbed my book and turned to page 202. When Harry wasn't looking, I let out a smile. Knowing I was still mad at him, I couldn't stay mad at him forever. Potions finally ended and the rest of the day was a blur. I headed back to my dorm after the long day of classes. When I opened the door, Ginny was already sitting there.
"How was your first day of classes?" I squealed to her running over to her and sitting next to her on the bed.
"It was great! I'm sad we only have 3 classes together." She exclaimed.
"Me too! My classes were ok. It was like every year." I said.
"Let's get ready for dinner!" Ginny stood up and headed over to her vanity.
"Good idea." I agreed. I touched up my makeup and hair which was messed up. We finished getting ready and headed down to the great hall. Today, I sat next to Ginny and Hermoine. There was the same food as yesterday.
"My brain isn't used to all this learning." I said jokily. The people sitting around me bursted into laughter. We ate and ate and ate. For dessert, we all have a pudding cup. As always, we were stuffed. Me and Ginny headed back to our dorm after and drifted off to sleep.
