Chapter 7- Lost

Mabel was in the middle of no were. she had run away from Dipp- no Mason earliar and was now lost she wondered around and around. Nothing was familiar.

"Help," she shouted, "I'm lost!" no response. It was getting light out side it was probably around 6:00 am but Mabel couldn't tell for sure. Mabel wondered around and around for hours calling out. the sun was well past it's highest piont when she saw a familar sight, the unicorn place were she had gotten unicorn hair to Bill proof the shack. She knew the way home from there she ran past the gnome tavern but when she looked inside she saw a poster offering unicorn hair to who ever could find Mabel Pines! Mabel wondered who had put the sign up. Had it been Mason, Ford, Candy, Grenda, Wendy, Stan even? Mabel thought about what she should do, she desited she would walk up the the door and suprise them if it was anyone but Mason she would hug them. If it was Mason she would just walk into the house and pertend he didn't exsist. Mabel headed back to the shack.

Dipper had come home to the Mystery Shack at about 1:00 am but Mabel hadn't been there. He had slept in to 9:40 and when he woke up still no Mabel. He searched high and low, no Mabel. HE had told the others that Mabel was missing. Even though everyone was a bit distrustful (exsept for Soos because he would be so hard to be convinced that some one had actuly betrayed them) came together making posters and organizing search parties. at 1:30 pm the had given up. Now Dipper ran to the door everytime some one knocked on it. At about 4:25 the doorbell rang. Dipper ran to the door opening it. There in the door was an exsauted Mabel. Her hair was a mess with twigs and leaves. Her sweater was ripped in places.

"Mabel!" said Dipper he was so happy. Mabel  walked right pasted him.

"Whoa, Mabel you back!" said Wendy who was sitting by the register. Mabel stayed silent.

"Uh... Dipper what's wrong," asked Wendy.

"What's wrong!" blurted out Mabel, "Dip- Mason ruined the chances with a boy I like!" 

"Wait, Mason? Is that you real name?" Wendy asked.

"Yeah," admitted Dipper.

"Why did you do that to Mabel?" asked Wendy.

"He was a vampire!" said Dipper. Mabel left the room and ran up the stairs to Mabel and Dipper's room.

"I just saw Mabel run through. Is some thing wrong?" asked Ford who walked in, "Or is it normal for kids to do that as soon as they come home after dissapering after hours on end?"

"I stopped her from dating a vampire," said Dipper, "And now she hates me."

"Well when me and Stanley had a falling out I-"

"You didn't talk to him for 10 years then you told him to go as far away as possible then when he rescuse you, you punch him," said Dipper.

"Uh ya, basically try not to be like us," said Ford.

"Well that failed," said Dipper, he sat down on a chair and put his head on the table, "I have no idea on how to make it up to Mabel."
