Anna couldn't sleep. She kept on turning and tossing around on her bed. Her mind traveled back to what happened earlier. She finally met the owner of the voice from her dreams. At least that's what she can say after she met Emily earlier at the community library.

"Emily..." She said. What a funny coincidence, she thought. The girl who always appeared in her dreams have the same name and have the same voice. Never did it occur to her that she will ever met the person in real life. Her thoughts were cut off when she heard her phone's notification sound. It was a message from her childhood friend, John.

Anna slide her thumb on the screen of her phone to unlock her phone. She tap on the message and she was welcomed with a picture of John together with her dad. She scrolled down to read his message.

"You don't have to worry about your dad. I'm taking good care of him. Enjoy your travels in Australia. Just don't forget my souvenir."

Anna smiled as she put down her phone. John has always be a reliable friend, though most of the time he's clumsy and often daydreams while he eats. She knew that she could always count on him.

She picked up her phone again and was about to message him back. "I finally saw her face." She typed but she deleted it. Anna has told him of her dreams before but even though he's her best friend, she still hesitates on telling him about what happened earlier. She knew what he's going to say so she decided to skip it tonight.

Anna picked up her ipod and put on her earphones. She put on Hatchie's Without a Blush. She liked the song. The lyrics felt like something she could relate to.

"If I could kiss you one more time
Would it make everything alright?
Or would it just make me a liar?
I didn't wanna end tonight the dream
I didn't wanna end the dream"

Emily slowly opened her eyes. Her heart fluttered as soon as she saw the most beautiful girl that she ever saw in her life. The girl who can make her whole world stop when she's with her.

She smiled as she scanned her sleeping face. She loved how peaceful she looked - her calm and even breathing, those long lashes that she'd been tempting to trace if only she's not afraid to wake her up.

Her mind wandered back to their conversation in the orchard under the apple tree where they always meet. Her heart was crushed upon confirming from Sue herself that she agreed to marry Austin. Emily knew that she didn't love her brother but what can she ever do?

"If I don't marry Austin, I will starve to death." Sue said as the tears run down her cheeks. In that moment, Emily wished that she was a boy so she could just marry Sue instead.

"Then, promise me one thing Sue." Emily said. "That you'll always love me more than him." That's the only thing that she could ask from Sue.

Sue slowly opened her eyes and saw Emily looking at her. "Are you watching me sleep?" She asked. "Yes."

Emily sat on her bed, with a pen on one hand and her notebook on the other. She grabbed a pillow and placed it on top of her thighs so she could use it as a table.

She began playing with the pen as she's trying to think of the words for the song that she's working on. She was able to write a few lines earlier anyways. But her mind wandered to the time that she finally get to see Anna's face.

Unconsciously, her hands began moving and little did she know that she was now drawing a sketch on her notebook. Aside from writing songs and singing, Emily had another talent. A talent that she hides from the rest of the world. She has a talent for drawing. She has done several sketches before and most of them were the woman of her dreams, Sue.

Emily continued with her sketch and after a few moments she finally finished it. It was a portrait of Anna, exactly how she met her earlier. Her long hair was flowing freely over her shoulders. She was wearing that jacket over her hoodie, her brown eyes looked so alive that Emily could feel her
stare just by looking at the portrait that she made.

She leaned back to the headboard of the bed as she placed her notebook down by her side. Slowly,
she closed her eyes. A small smile drew on her face. "Thank God, you are real." She mumbled as
she slowly drifted to her sleep.
