Chapter 8: We Meet Again

The next morning, Tanjiro was waken up by Muzan so early.

Tanjiro's POV

"Muzan?" I said. "What's up?" "I want to take you back to the original house." Muzan answered. "Why?" "Because I don't want Tsukahiro to hurt you." "B-but I like your daughter..." I said. Muzan stood there for a while and said softly, "I have a plan, but you must go back first." "E-erm...what plan?" I asked. "I can't tell you." "You won't kill her, right?" I asked nervously. "Of course I won't hurt anyone. Trust me! I have changed!" "A-alright..." I looked down and said.

Then, I packed all my belongings and left the house alone because Muzan had some important works to do. When I was leaving, Muzan's wife seemed happy. "She really hates me..." I thought.

On my way, I wasn't watching the floor, but wondering what Muzan would do to his wife. Suddenly, I bumped into a person. "A-ah! I am sor-" "Tanjiro!?" It was Tomioka-san. "I-I..." I was stunned, but the next second, he grabbed my arm and I struggled. "H-hey! Let me go! You are hurting me!" He ignored me until we arrived at an alley. "Tanjiro, answer me. Did Muzan force you to obey him?" He asked. "N-no...I-I did that...willingly...I am sorry! I didn't mean to! I-I just...." I mumbled. "You just what?" Tomioka-san asked emotionlessly. "I-I don't want to watch him die...I will feel guilty about that..." I said quietly. "He is your enemy! He killed your family!" "He has changed! He won't kill innocent people now!" "How would you know! He is the demon king! He can do anything anytime!" He shouted angrily. "I-I..." I was speechless. "No more talking. Come with me now." "W-wait! No!" I yelled and struggled. "I will be punished or even executed!" He kept ignoring me. I almost cry out. "Help me! Muzan!" I thought. Suddenly, some police appeared behind us and shouted, "Hey you! Let the boy go!"

Giyuu's POV

"Ugh! The police..." I thought. "Tomioka-san! Let me go and run away!" Tanjiro said quietly. "I will not! I am still believing that you are forced to betray us. Now, keep your mouth shut!" I whispered. "H-how many times I have told you..." Tanjiro said but I didn't listen but started to run away from the police. Soon, the police lost us.

"Tomioka-san...I-" "Shh...something is not right here." I stopped him. "Haha! A pillar alone in my place!" A voice said. "Who are you!?" I yelled.

Doma's POV

I appeared infront of the water pillar and lord's little lover. "I am the upper moon two and I am here to take Tanjiro-kun back!" I said. "U-upper moon t-two?" The pillar said, trembling. "Aww~ don't be scared! I will give you a quick death!" I said. "W-wait!" Tanjiro yelled. "D-don't kill him please! Tomioka-san, let me go and run! You must run because you can't fight with him!" "I will never do that!" The pillar who named Tomioka said. "Please! You will die!" "No!" "Okok!" I said. "No more time for you two to talk. Now, die!"

Tanjiro's POV

Tomioka-san pushed me away and started to fight with the upper moon two. "No! Wait!" I yelled with tears. But they didn't listen to me...
