Part 13

Sandras POV:
I woke up to hear Cate sobbing in the bathroom. I immediately got up and went to the bathroom. I wanted to open the door but it was locked
"Cate?" I asked with a shaky voice
I wanted to be here for her, but I couldn't if she wouldn't open the door
"Open the door please. I'm here for you..."
"It's all my f-fault" Cate said with a shaky voice
"What's your fault Cate? Talk to me baby please"
After some minutes she opened the door and looked at me with her red puffy eyes, my heart broke when I see her like that.
"What happen? Speak to me Cate please..."
"I-It's Andrew" she spoke with a little crack in her voice " you remember when Sarah you and me were in the mall and went out to grab some food?" She asked
"Yes of course I remember that"
"Do you also remember that I saw him with this other girl?"
I only nodded and she continued to tell what happend
"He saw us three. At first I didn't see what was bad at us three going out to have a little fun because you two only wanted to cheer me up, but he also saw us holding hands in the restaurant. He saw how I looked at you. He saw how I blushed when you looked at me. He saw everything..." she said and started to cry again
After that she just gave me her phone, it has a photo of me and her in the restaurant on the screen, how she looked at me and blushed.
"I know your a freaking lesbian Cate, you can't deny it.
You will never see the kids again.
I don't want them to be around someone like you.
It doesn't matter that you are their mother.
It was even a mistake to get kids with you!"

I couldn't think straight why is Andrew like this? He absolutely knows that it will break Cate completely if she can't see her kids, I know how much she loves them, they are her everything.
"Hey Cate everything will be alright. I promise ok?" I said in hope that it would cheer her up a little bit
"Promise?"
"Promise" I said and just hugged her
"Come with me let's go to bed, it's still early in the morning"
She just nodded and went back with me in the bedroom and I hugged her till she fell asleep.

Cates POV:
I woke up to the smell of coffee and pancakes. I looked around the room and searched for sandy but I didn't find her, so I called out loud
"Sandy?"
"I'm in the kitchen darling, I made breakfast come on or we'll be late for work" she shouted back
"Coming" I said and immediately got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen. And there she was the woman I fell for harder than I would ever think. I stood behind her and hugged her and kissed her neck
"Thank you" I whispered in her ear
"Anything for you" she said and smiled at me
We just stood there and looked at each other for some time until I broke the silence
"Can I kiss you?" I asked her
She didn't say anything she just took my head in her hands and smashed my lips against hers. I never want this moment to end her lips against mine feel like heaven it makes me fall for her even more...
"Wow" I said laughing a little
"Hope this cheers you up a little" she said with a little smirk on her face while she gave me the plate
"Oh it definitely did" I said with a confident tone
After I ate my breakfast we made our way to work
When I'm with Sandra I'm just happy and forget everything bad that is happening in my life right now. It just feels right to be with her, she completes me I feel like I never had in my life before and I'm thankful for every moment we share. I have no idea how our relationship will be when we are done shooting Oceans 8 but I hope we won't stop seeing each other because I really like her. But let's see what the time brings.
