Part 9

Cates POV:
I'm on my way back from set to the hotel. I'm pretty happy that Sandy wants to see me again, but first I have to deal with some things like calling Andrew and making sure the kids are okay...
"Cate? What do you want?" Andrew asked me harshly
"Just wanted to make sure the kids are okay..." I said in a calm tone "and I wanted to talk with you about the divorce."
"The kids are all good they miss you and want to see you again. About the divorce, I don't think we have to talk about it Cate. I don't love you anymore, I found someone better than you and don't want to be married with you anymore, I want you to move out and I keep the kids!" He said to me without showing any emotions, I don't even recognize him the only thing I can clearly hear out of his voice is pure anger and it scares me a little bit to be honest.
I don't know what to say I have to fight against the tears that built up in my eyes.
"Cate are you there or what's the matter speak with me and don't just stay silent!" He almost screams in the phone
"Yes Andrew I understand you, but I want to keep the kids they are all that I have..." I say in between sobs
"NO!" He says angrily and ends the call
I just sit in my hotel room not able to move the only thing I do is sit on the ground and cry

I don't know what time it is but I hear a knock on the door and go open it. On the door I see a worried Sandy not being able to say anything, she just Closes the door after her and hugs me for some minutes, she says thousand Things without saying anything. I'm happy to have her at this Moment because i feel safe in her hug and her touches.

"What's going on Cate? What happend are you ok? Who hurt you? Do you wanna talk About it?" She asks me and I can hear that she is really worried about me
"I just talked to Andrew on the phone and he wants me to moe out and Keep the Kids"
"Hey hey it's okay he can't just Keep the Kids if you don't want it, you can have split custody, it's going to be okay I promise" She kissed my forehead and asked me if i want something to eat. I just nodded my head and went with her in the kitchen and she made me something to eat.
"Thank you Sandy, you don't have to do this for me" i whispered with a shaky voice
"It's okay Sweetheart I care About you a lot... and I can't see you like this, it breaks my heart, I want to help you get trough this and you don't have to thank me"
I just hugged her to Show her how thankful I am for her to help and care About me
"Do you want to stay over? I mean I was meant to come to your room but now your in mine, and I really don't want to be alone" i asked her a Little shy
"sure if you want me to stay I will" she kissed my forehead again and said "I'm just going to grab some clothes for the night and for tomorror moring ok?"
"Ok" and with that she left the room and left me alone with all my thoughts
I started to cry again I can't take all of this it's to much for me...
