Part 5

I lean forward and kiss her...

Our lips melt into each other and we don't break the kiss until we both needed air. Our lips part and our foreheads touch. We look in each other's eyes and stay in this comfort silence for some minutes.
What am I doing? Do I love her? What is this? What am I even doing here? I have a family, a life...

Sandy and I stand in this comfort silence for some minutes, until she breaks the silence
"What is this?" She asks me looking in my deep blue eyes
"I have no idea" I say and sit down at her bed
"Do you want to sleep here?" Sandy asks me very shy and looking at the ground
"Yeah sure. We have to go to the set early tomorrow, I can sleep on the sofa so I don't make you uncomfortable" I say taking her chin in my hand tilting her head up so she looks me deep in the eyes. I hope that she asks me to sleep with her in the bedroom but she doesn't, she simply nods and makes her way to the bedroom. I turn around and went to the couch and fell asleep immediately.

The next morning:

I woke up at around 6am and hear the shower going so I guess it's Sandra, I mean who else could it be. I go to the kitchen and make myself breakfast and prepare some for sandy too. We still haven't talked about the kiss yesterday, but it felt so good I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. How our lips moved in sync and our body's melt into each other's it was amazing. Keep your thoughts together Cate you don't even know if she enjoyed it, don't keep your hopes to high...
after around 20 minutes sandy enters the kitchen smiling at you
"Morning" she says smiling at you
"Good Morning, I prepared some breakfast for you if you want some too" I say gesturing her to the table with the plate on it.
"Thank you cate you really didn't have to do that" she says smiling even more than she did before
"Why are you smiling so bright? What's the matter?" You ask her looking in her chocolate brown eyes
"I'm just happy to sit here with you and my breakfast made by you, shooting today with you. You bright up my day cate I hope you know that"
My lips part into a small smile hearing these words from her mouth. The woman looks at me and is getting nervous when she says " I really enjoyed the kiss yesterday Cate, I don't know how you feel but I think it felt really good" I look at her happy and surprised at the same time because I didn't think that she would feel the same about the kiss. "I enjoyed it too this was the best kiss I ever had and I have no idea what this is between us but I like it" I say looking at her.
"I like it too, but what are we?"
This question reminds me of everything that is going on with Andrew at the moment, I still haven't talked with him and don't know if he really wants a divorce. But I know what I want and I want to be happy and I don't think I will be happy if I keep staying with Andrew. Even if it breaks my heart it isn't like it was in the beginning. I was lost in my thoughts when Sandra shakes me a little bit
"Hey cate are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm sorry, I was just lost in my thoughts about everything"
"So what are we?" She asks me again
"We are what you want us to be" I say looking at her smiling "so what do you want us to be?" I ask her
"I think I like you cate. But I don't want to rush things with you like I did in other relationships so maybe we can go on a date or two and see what it is like?"
"Sure I would love to go on a date with you" I say smiling like I haven't in days.
