A light unto my soul, thou art gave
Joy unto my heart and so I proclaim
The greatness of yonder stays the same
You are my unquenchable fire
With every tear and every cry
You extend your grace, compassion
and love
When troubles came and burdens drove
You gave us strength to proceed and hope
In every second and every hour
Your presence thus it never lasts
and so is your love, it never fades
You are my God the blessed holy One!
And so I stand with a humble heart
before the Lord with greatness of joy
for all my worries which tend to destroy
Has all been gone because of thy grace!
