Thank you everyone and anyone who likes this story. I was only able to write it because the small (but incredibly powerful) fandom of the Seojun and Sujin pairing inspired me to. This is my first fanfiction so its not the best but I really enjoyed writing it. I hope you like reading it too.
I wanted to give Sujin a redemption arc. She started off as my favorite character in the story but then she became something else and it actually broke my heart. Please know that I absolutely do not condone bullying or manipulating but as a character Sujin fascinated me and the parallel between her unrequited love and Seojun's kinda made me ship them together. I do get that people hate her, and I understand why. But I still think this character had a lot of potential and I wanted to explore that in this story.
The songs mentioned in the story are You Were Beautiful by Day6. Park Yoona who plays Sujin said in an interview that she liked Day6, specifically this song. Haru by Royal Pirates, the song Seojun sings at the wedding, is a personal favorite of mine. It has the same theme as True Beauty that in real love, things like looks don't matter. The final song that Seojun sings to Sujin is Half Moon by Dean. Hwang In Yeop once mentioned in an interview that he liked this song.
