Reggie Sees Everything

Reggie and Julie had always been close as far as siblings went, but they got even closer when they had formed a band with Reggie's friends Luke and Alex last year. The four of them spent almost every day after school and on weekends in their garage that they had turned in to a studio.

Alex had noticed it first and Reggie not far behind him when it all started

They seen how Luke was whenever Nick was around Julie before they broke up, Luke always looked like he wanted to rip the guys head off but the day they broke up he almost did when he found out that Nick had broke up with Julie because he had been seeing Carrie.

FLASHBACK

"He what now..." Luke said looking at Julie and her big puffy eyes

She sighed "he broke up with me because he has been seeing Carrie behind my back for god knows how long...I should of seen that coming I guess"

"No no no no okay no A, you dont get to blame yourself for this okay he is a loser and when I get my hands on him if Reggie doesnt get there first then hes gonna be an injured loser okay and B. it his loss Julie who wouldnt want to be with you... I mean ... look at you not only are you crazy talented but youre beautiful Julie whoever doesnt see that needs their head looked at"

She didnt get a chance to reply to him before he got up and made his way out of the garage her guess was to find Nick

And he found him ...

"Whats your problem anyway Luke huh" Nick asked holding his now aching cheek as Luke shook his bruised hand

"You know what my problem is Nick my problem is is that you are an ass and Julie never deserved to with someone like you she deserves a whole lot better than you she deserves..."

"What... she deserves you... that what you think ... she should be with you... come on Luke you aint as subtle as you make out to be I have seen you over the last few months"

Lukes mouth went dry for a  mili second "what I uh I dont know what youre talking about ..."

Nick rolled his eyes " dude you suck at lying we all know youre in to her and you have been in to her for god knows how long she is the only one who doesnt know"

Luke shook his head " once again i dont know what you are talking about and all im gonna say is stay the hell away from her form now on okay"

luke walked away before he hit him harder than he should

END OF FLASHBACK

"dude stare much more and she will actually feel it in the back of her head" alex said

luke zoned back in "huh what what are you talking about"

He knew fine well what Alex was talking about, he wasn't denying that he had feelings for Julie anymore he didnt see the point Alex and Reggie knew him too well

"Dude will you just tell her already I thought you would jump at the chance as soon as her and Nick broke up" Alex stated curious

Luke shook his head "im not jumping at anything its not happening so dont get your or my hopes up she's Reggie's sister and our friend Alex im not risking that its not worth it"

Alex just rolled his eyes at his friend dropping the subject for now

Later on that day luke was making his way round to reggie and julies house. His mind was lost in what alex had been saying to him earlier that day, maybe he should just tell julie its not like hes any good at hiding it anyway.

He turns in to the drive way looking at the garage doors open and julie inside talking on the phone as reggie comes out to meet him

"She looks happy, who she talking to" luke asked his friend

Reggie shrugged " i dont know but she has been on the phone for ages now smiling and laughing away... that bothers you doesnt it"

Yes... yes it did

He shrugged  " no not at all why why would it bother me she can talk to who she wants" he said taking his eyes off her to look at reggie

" dude just give it up okay, you like her and you suck at hiding that apart from hiding it from her it bothers you that someone whoever it is is making her laugh"  reggie said walking away from the garage

Luke thought for a second he could easily just deny it like he had been for a long time but reggie knew him better than anyone. He looked up at him finally sighing

"Fine you know what reggie yes okay yes it bothers me it bothers me a lot a lot more than it should do i hate it when i see another dude so much as look at her and i dont know how it started but its there now and its not going anywhere and i dont know how to get rid of it"

"I do" reggie claims

"Just tell her man put us all out of our misery"

He shrugged as they walked up the drive " and say what reggie whats up julie lately i cant stand to see any guys look at you wanna hang out" he said rolling his eyes

" did someone say my name " he heard someone say behind him. He froze ... How much of that did she hear... He slowly turned to face Julie standing behind him

"No time like the present" Reggie whispered to him and before like had time to register what was going on Reggie spoke up.

" yeah Luke here was just wanting to ask you something weren't you bro" he said nudging like forward in to Julie's direction and walked back to the garage

Okay yes now he was panicking

Gulping and itching the back of his neck " in well I uh yeah ... I mean it's nothing uh really I uh was just gone ask if you wanted to go and uh check that new karaoke bar uh in town uh tonight " smooth really smooth he thought

To his surprise she smiled up at him and nodded " yeah that sounds like fun like should I ask the guys too " she said looking back at Reggie

His little confidence suddenly found its way through as he said " uh actually I uh I was meaning just uh the two of us uh if you wouldn't mind that " he was praying that she would get what he was saying and that he didn't have to spell it out to her

She had a quick look of shock on her face that was soon replaced by a big smile " on uh yeah I would like that is it uh like a uh... "

" a date.. Yeah ... I mean if you want it to be uh" his nervous scratching of his neck was back

Biting back her smile she nodded " I would love that Luke it's a date " she said looking anywhere but him hiding her blush on  her face walking back to the garage

Luke stood stunned for a quick second ...did she just say yes.. He recovered himself and looked up at Reggie who obviously knew what had just happened

" can I say I told you so now huh or should I wait until after your date " Reggie said with a smug look on his face

"Oh shut up Reggie she probably just said yes to be polite " Luke shrugged

Reggie rolled his eyes " dude she said yes because she's in to you just as much as you're in to her so just take it and run bro "
