Reggie Sees Everything

Moments it took for Reggie to realize his best friend Luke was crushing on his sister Julie.

Reggie, Julie, Luke and Alex had been in a tight friendship group for years before they started their band but once they had they became closer than ever. Luke and Alex practically lived in their garage that they had turned in to their band space with all their stuff.

The first moment he saw this was not that long after they done the garage out.

Luke was in the garage tidying things up from moving everything around when Julie walked in and seen him there.

"Oh hey Luke I didn't know you were in here what are you doing"

"Oh uh hey yeah I uh I was just trying to neaten the place up after moving everything around" he shrugged looking around the room

She nodded "yeah it looks so much better than it did" she said putting her book on the piano

Luke saw this "got some new song ideas Julie" he asked nodding to her song book

She smiled "I guess I don't know what it is yet though, anyway do you need any help moving anything else" she asked looking up at him

She didn't know what it did to him when she looked up at him like that and he couldn't ignore it anymore.

"Uh yeah sure there's just a few books and stuff i was gonna get and put in the trunk there if you wanna grab them for me" he said walking over to the trunk he had put away

she nodded and stood on the stool to get the books but the stool wobbled and she fell.

Luke acted before he could even think and caught her while he fell back on the couch. With a huff of hitting the couch he opened his eyes and seen Julies face full of shock very close to him...closer than they had ever been.

He coughed and put her down "are you uh are you okay Jules"

She nodded "yeah thank you Luke" she said as he stood up infront of her

The moment he brushed hair from her face was the moment Reggie walked in with concern on his face the moment he seen them both "hey what's going on" he asked looking from Julie to Luke

Luke jumped away from her "huh oh nothing we were just finishing tidying the garage up it looks good don't you think" he said looking at Reggie

Reggie eyed them both before smiling "yeah it looks sick guys"

After a while Julie made her way back in to the house leaving the boys in the garage

Reggie looked over at Luke who was messing with his guitar "so you and Julie seemed to be pretty close when I came in bro"

Luke felt his grip on his guitar loosen a bit as he looked round at Reggie with wide eyes

Coughing "what... what are you talking about were friends were in a band why wouldn't we be close I mean like normal friends are" he shrugged sitting on the chair across from Reggie

Reggie shrugged smirking to himself "I don't know man you two seem to be getting along more the last few weeks is someone starting to crush on my sister" he said poking Luke jokingly

Luke's breath caught for a moment looking at his friend "are you crazy she's your sister Reggie.. she... I... were friends bro always have been I don't know bro I guess we just get along well we have a lot in common just like I do with you" he said wanting this conversation over as fast as possible

That has played in his mind all night after he left their house, he paced back and forth in his room going over what Reggie had said. Was it true... was he slightly crushing on his best friends sister.
