Chapter 4
At Professor Banister's class...

"And through the way he draws the arms, it is clearly stated that he is experiencing--"

"Sorry I'm late Professor!" I busted in.

"Well..." The Prof. crossed his arms, "Why are you late, Ms. Collins?" He drummed his fingers.

"I...Um..."

He stared at me, a death stare and raised an eyebrow.

"Well?"

"Uh..." I started to shake, he looks enraged.

"I...Woke up late.."

"Well then...Meet me after class."

"But--"

"It was my fault she woke up late."

What the hell? Jake? I thought.

"I kept her up late to clean our room."

"So, you're a lazy student aren't you?" The Prof. started to look at him.

"Yes sir...I'm sorry." Jake lowered his head.

"Very well," He looked at me, "You're saved Ms. Collins."

Yes! I'm saved! I almost jumped out of joy and I felt like hugging Jake, I was gonna walk to my seat when...

"Your homework, Ms. Collins?"

"My...(gulp) H-Homework?"

Shit, I left it!

"Well?" The Professor asked me.

"I...Uhh..."

I'm dead.

"Professor," Jake said, "I took her homework this morning, and I guess she wasn't able to find it, here it is," He gave Prof. Banister ny homework, "I'm sorry...AGAIN."

"Tsk tsk, I don't expect anything like this again tomorrow, is that clear?" He took my homework and gave Jake a death glance.

"Jake..." I whispered.

Jake gestured me to stay quiet.

"Now, you may sit down Ms. Collins so that we can continue our lesson."

Everyone was murmuring, looking at me and Jake, like they saw a ghost.

"Hey..." I said as I scooched over to Jake.

He was just silent, then he gave me a book, it was our psychology textbook, I forgot it too, guess he brought it here...For me.

"Don't mention it." He whispered.

I couldn't help but smile seeing Jake like this, I never knew he had this side of him.

"Thanks, for...You know..." I said as I grabbed a fruit cup.

"I already told ya...Don't mention it." He smiled, "I also answered your last question you forgot." He grabbed an apple and a milk carton.

"Wow...You did so much for me this day..." I smiled at him as I grabbed a celery and a milk carton too.

"Then I guess you wouldn't mind finshing your last days of cleaning our rooms?"

"Nope. Oh sweet, the last cupcake!"
