#11 mama im in love with a criminal

Rats POV

When i heard the news our plan didn't work, i wanted to cry. Dick was going to Juvie, he was being taken away from me, it broke me. after all this, my love was being taken away. Polly was fine, she took out Booklan easily, Booklan was horse girl and she probably just nayed at Polly. Tony was in the hospital, she was stable. so at least she did something but she still didn't even kill her.

our school went into lockdown, then we were all sent home. when Polly came to school the next day everyone kept asking her what happened, she just avoided everyone, she looked at me suspiciously. i hope she doesn't know i was an accomplice. she never said anything though.

when i got home the news was on and my mom looked surprised.
"the accomplice to the attempted murderer at your school has escaped the juvenile detention centre!" Dick!

Dick was free, i hoped he was okay.

that night i was sitting at my desk fighting with Polly on our class group chat about a meme she sent. it was a picture of a frog titled MILF in big letter and then under said "Man I Love Frogs" this angered me. for what i don't know.

Suddenly i heard tapping on my window, i was startled but then i saw Dick. he was sitting on my roof waiting to be let in. my heart fluttered the sight of him. i ran over to the window and opened it, letting him come in. i hugged him and kissed him happily

"what happened" i whispered, my parents were asleep and i didn't want to wake them, especially with a delinquent in my room.

"don't worry about it baby" he said stroking my chin. i was worried about where we were going in the future but when he touched me my worries melted away.

we sat and talked quietly "i need a place to stay for while Rat, you were the only person i could think of"
"you can stay here, in the closet." i said softly
"i've been in there for so long" he chuckled
"haha your such a silly goose, i'll bring you food and water but u need to stay in there.
"okay baby"

we fell asleep next to each other, my bed was small but we were smaller. my alarm went off next morning, i was enjoying my peaceful rest so much that i turned it off and went back to my slumber. 20 minutes later my mom came into my room rushed
"Rat your gonna miss your bus if you don't.." she stopped talking mid sentence when she saw Dick in my bed.

"WHAT THE FUCK RAT, HES A FUGITIVE"

i got up panicked and ran to my mom,
"mom please, i love him..."

then i picked up my phone and turned on a song and sang along hoping my mom would understand.
