Love Fever

- Chapter 3 -

I slow down to a walk catching my breath. I stop completely and spin around on my heels and stare at a tree about 15 feet away from me. "Isn't it a bit rude for a pervert like you to be following an unarmed women?" It's completely silent except for the soft blow of the wind.

"Come on I already know your there, you could at least come out a greet me properly" I hear a soft chuckle and a voice says "I'm not a pervert Jirou" I smile and roll my eyes "Yeah right, you may not be as big of a one like my brother but you definitely have a perverted side. Isn't that right...." I hear a small rustling in the tree "Hatake Kakashi".

He jumps down the tree with a book in his hand as he walks toward me "Still reading those weird books my brothers writes?" He tilts his head and glances to my hand "Still stealing peoples money?" I gasp and hide my hand behind my back "Nonsense I have no idea what you are talking about, this is my money" he puts his book in his bag and says "You haven't changed one bit, you used to steal my money at any chance you had and you were still always flat broke" I huff and say "Yeah well it's been what five years since I saw you and you are still a closeted pervert" he squints his eyes at me and says "I am not a pervert".

I sigh as a women and her kid walks by us and then kids says "Mom look who it is" he tugs on her sleeve and she says "What honey?" He points directly at Kakashi and says "It's the famous Copy Ninja" she smiles and I say "Would you like his autograph little boy?" He nods and runs over to us. I look up to Kakashi and he glares at me "Go on sign his bag" I say and I give Kakashi a big fake smile as he digs into his own bag to find a pen. I turn to the boy and say "You want to know something cool about the Copy Ninja?" The little boys nods eagerly "Yes please" I smile once more and say "Well actually the Copy Ninja is a huge per-" I get stopped by a large hand covering my mouth and Kakashi giving the kid his famous eyes closed smile "Perfectionist, I am a huge perfectionist." the boy smiles as Kakashi signs his bag. The boy runs off back to his mom and Kakashi waves to the pair until they are out of sight.

He turns to me and glares at me not even attempting to move his hand from my mouth "You think your so funny Jirou..." I squint my eyes at him and say muffled "That's because I am" he rolls his eyes

"Just remember I know secrets about you that I can use to expose you" I let out a muffled laugh before I lick his palm. He retracts his hand from me and I grab his collar and pull him down to my level and whisper in his ear "Well Mr. Hatake I know many of your secrets too. I also know why you always wear a mask" I pull away from his a give him a big smile. He stares at me with wide eyes and a small blush peeking through the top of his mask.

I turn and start walking away not long before he sprints after me and says "What do you mean you know why I wear a mask?" I chuckle and say "Exactly what I said" he grabs my shoulder and says "Everyone knows why I wear a mask, its because I'm to pretty so I have to wear one" I pat his hand that's on my shoulder and say "You're right, you are pretty. Personally I think that's a cover up" he scoffs and says "Elaborate" I grin and say "Simple. You are a pervert. You wear a mask so people can't see your nosebleeds" his eyes go wide and says "T-That's not true at all, I don't get nosebleeds" my grin gets bigger as I say "Everyone gets nosebleeds...." I glance up at the vast sky and say "I get nosebleeds." I punch his shoulder and say "Don't worry about it. No one cares if you're pervert, everyone is in some way"

I sigh and say "Anyways want to get dinner tonight?" He drops his head and says "Can't. Kids. Team. Promise" I slap my hand over my mouth and try not to laugh "Are you sulking because I called you out" he doesn't say anything "I won't tell anyone....so dinner?" He says "Can't. Dinner. Treat" I nod and say "Ohh you already made a promise to the kids on your team that you would treat them to dinner?" He nods and I say "Come on I will go with you" I grab his shoulders and shake him "Lets gooo" he slowly picks up his head and says "Ok lets go".

As we are walking down the streets he stops in front of a BBQ place and says "We are here" I nod and say "Ohh its been a while since I was here" he chuckles and opens the door. I walk in allowing Kakashi to go ahead of me as he walks toward the table. "Oh Kakashi Sensei is finally here" Kakashi waves at the bunch of kids as I step out from behind him and wave at them too. As soon as a step out I spot the kid from the ramen place, he jumps up from the table and points at me, I point at him and we both shout "ITS YOU!!"
