"SHIT" was the only thought you had when you woke up from your deep slumber. Your alarm clock was lying next to the door. That poor thing probably got thrown away again after having rang for the fifth time this morning, to remind you to get up.

For what?

School.

A place of education. It can be a blessing for people, who wish to seek knowledge of the world. Or it can be considered a curse for those, who want nothing but peace. Peace from the constant reminder of having the need for a goal in the future. Peace from the contant pressure if you do not meet certain requirements. These certain requirements including people's expactation of you to gain knowledge to fit into society. To be a part of it.

You were one of those people, who not only wanted peace but sleep.

It was another morning of "hurrying the fuck up". Quickly getting up made your blood rush to your head, making you see black dots clouding your vision but you just ignored it, putting on your socks and dashing to your wardrobe to put on your whatever you could put on as fast as possible. You ended up with a simple pair of black baggy pants and a black hoodie. You really weren't up for trying to dress "decent" for school. For your standards, this was "decent" enough. It was comfortable and in case an apocalypse would break out, you would be able to atleast run fast in these clothes.

Not even bothering to look into the mirror, you just ran to the bathroom. Brushed your teeth, hair and that was pretty it. After having put on some parfume to atleast smell nice for yourself, you went back to your room to pick up your bag from your floor. Looking through it, you luckily already had everything that you need for today's lessons. "Good thing I actually decided to pack my things for once in a while" you mumble under your breath. Slinging your bag over your shoulder, you run downstairs to the kitchen. Your mother and your little brother were already out of the house, so you didn't have to expect another round of complaints of you being too loud in the morning. Welp, when will they ever get used to it? Probably never.

Searching through the shelves in the kitchen, you finally find a pack of chocolate cookies. Not the most healthy breakfast but you would just get something in school anyway. Putting the cookie in your mouth, you almost had to refrain yourself from slowly enjoying the cookie, since chocolate cookies may be simple but nonetheless very tasty and enjoyable. Having found something to eat, you rush out of the door. Only to stop by the stairs that were infront of your door. It was freezing cold outside. You, being a literal genius, forgot to put on your shoes and a jacket. Knowing that you clearly had only 15 minutes until school starts didnt make the situation any better.

"UGH" loudly groaning at your own stupidity, you hastily make your way back to your room, slamming your wardrobe open and shut as you grab a random jacket to shield yourself from the cold. Your shoes were patiently waiting infront of the door for you as you were holding yourself back from throwing a fit out of annoyance towards yourself. You literally ran past your shoes minutes ago. Was it something that only happened once in a while? Sadly no. Putting on your shoes and even checking to see if your keys were in your bag, you make your way towards school. While running, you pull out your phone to look at the time. "7:20am. REALLY??" You screeched, having only 10 minutes left to run to school. Normally it would take you atleast 30 minutes to walk but thank god, adrenaline exists so you just had to pray that you would only be atleast 5 minutes late.
