After having calmed down from your panic attack, you were now sitting with your knees on the floor and a tea cup in your hand while Urokodaki was sitting infront of you, cooking some food on a fire with a pot.

The light of the fire gave the room a comforting warmth, as if trying to give you a sense of security. The soft crackle of the fire, your slight sniffing and the sound of stirring, were the only things that could be heard right now. Both you and Urokodaki were silent, him probably wanting to give you some space and time to calm down on your own.

You weren't sure what you were supposed to think or what he was thinking at all.

Taking a glance at him, he continued to stir the food inside a pot. You couldn't make out any kind of expressions since he was - well- wearing his iconic goblin mask. Even though the food smelt pleasant and would normally make you hungry by the smell itself, you couldn't really feel any hunger.

It was even weirder, that you were wearing a ripped maroon colored kimono. The obi barely holding on to not expose your chest area. Luckily you had a haori to cover yourself with. You didn't know when, how or where you had the chance to change your clothes and Urokodaki wouldn't have given you a ripped kimono to wear. So you just tried to assume that it was mother nature trying to somehow make you fit into this world?

Everything was just too much to process.

Didn't you have a huge fight with your mom moments ago?

Didn't you try go after them like a lunatic by your bike moments

Didn't you just hug your little brother, your whole sunshine, moments ago?

And most importantly...

Didn't you just die moments ago?

You clearly remember getting hit by that truck and were trying your best to not have another panic attack, not wanting to trouble the man who had picked you up from god-knows-where and calmed you down from a panic attack. You were nothing but a literal stranger in his eyes.

Your lips quivered as you tried to keep everything in and silently took a sip from your tea, trying to atleast distract yourself with it.

Urokodaki didn't need his keen sense of smell to know that something of a large scale must have happened to you, to make you fall into such a lost and fearful state.

While shifting his gaze to you, he pondered about the circumstances, that could make such a young child hold so many negative emotions at once.

It seems that she might have lost her family recently or that she has experienced something tragic. Perhaps she has lost someone dear to her and yet all I can do is speculate.

It would be better to hear it from her but judging from her reactions before she was about to have a panick attack, she barely understood anything I was telling her.

Urokodaki let out a small sigh, which didn't go unnoticed to you.

You only kept your eyes on your tea as you struggled to distract yourself from thinking about everything that's been happening until now.

Startled by a sudden noise of rustling, you watch as Urokodaki gets up and walks into a room next to you. A bit curious, you try to peek into the room, only hearing some shuffling.

A latern was standing on a small table, that you could faintly see in the back of a room through the darkness. It wasn't lit so it sadly couldn't provide you more insight in what Urokodaki was possibly doing in there. Not wanting to come off as rude and invading, you quickly move your eyes back to your tea.
