Mei sat in class doodling like she usually did. Her silver eyes wandered to the dark haired halfling next to her. She blushed a little and held her hand under the desk surprising the taller girl. Jasmine smiled a little and held her hand back. Jasmine stared at the board, but her eyes wandered to the security camera pointing at everyone. She narrowed her eyes a tiny bit "hmmmm..." Was the only thing that went through her head. Class ended sending the young halfling out of her seat and out of class. She noticed something Mei wasn't with them. TJ and Axel didn't seem to notice as they continued walking to the cafeteria. "I'll catch up guys," Jasmine informed the two faunus as she turned walking back to the classroom. She peeked her head through the door "Mei-?" She began but was cut off when she heard a thud. She directed her eyes to the sound and her eyes widened. There stood James laughing over Mei who's eye was starting to swell and her nose was bleeding. "Pfff pathetic your moms are the the number one huntresses and you can't even stand up for yourself. Pathetic." James mocked. Mei sniffled as she hung her head trying to hide her tears. Jasmines body acted on its own as she ran to the brown haired boy and punched him square in the jaw. He fell over with a grunt and held his jaw. Jasmine glared down at him with a cold look "don't. Touch her. Ever." She spat growling. James growled "whatever you halfling freak," he spat back pushing past her walking out. Jasmines gaze turned to her girlfriend her expression softening as she knelt down. "Mei are you alright?" Jasmine asked worriedly. Mei looked up her eye now black and painful looking. Mei cried and hugged Jasmine crying into her shoulder. Jasmine hugged her back she felt happy that she helped Mei but that happiness soon withered away when one thought came to her mind. The thought hurt her...when cinder revealed herself and would set in action her plan to take over beacon...she would have to leave Mei and the friends she had made. Jasmine frowned at the idea but she owed cinder her life. She had to follow orders. No matter the cost.
"Mei...what happened...?" Jasmine asked with a concerned tone. Mei sniffled "I-I...I was getting ready to leave a-and I bumped into James... I-I apologized b-but he punched me...I saw you guys had left already and he said if I screamed he'd hurt me more..." Mei explained her voice cracking every now and then. Jasmine frowned and kissed her forehead making the snow haired schnee blush. "Don't worry babe I won't let that prick hurt my Mei-Mei oh and next time just kick him in the balls ok," Jasmine instructed with a smirk. Mei giggled "of course babe," Mei replied kissing the half wolf half ravens cheek. Jasmine smiled "we're getting better at being affectionate aren't we?" Jasmine giggled as they both stood up. "I suppose puppy," Mei replied using a new nickname name with a smug grin on her face. Jasmine blushed and scoffed rolling her eyes playfully "I'm only part puppy snowflake," Jasmine shot back playfully. Mei held her heart faking being offended "my ma calls my mom snowflake please don't use it save me from the cringe," Mei pleaded. Jasmine chuckled "fine fine I won't ya big baby," Mei giggled causing Jasmines heart to flutter. "Now c'mon I'm starving!" Mei cheered standing up and dragging Jasmine down the hall.Later that night
Jasmine snuck out the room in an all black stealth outfit. She snuck around campus avoiding the gaze of patrols Oscar had hired. "Damn...it's getting harder to sneak around," Jasmine grunted in her mind.
Jasmine climbed up to a roof and looked up at the bright green lights coming from the tower where Oscars office was held. Her gazing was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Ahhh Jasmine so lovely of you to show up," Cinder spoke in a chillingly smooth tone. Jasmine straightened her posture "good evening miss cinder," Jasmine spoke as if she were a soldier talking to their drill Sargent. "I presume you brought what I needed," cinder questioned holding out her hand expectingly. Jasmine handed her the files she had taken from Oscars office. Cinder smirked reading over the files. "Very good Jasmine," cinder said placing the files in her bag. "Of course ma'am..." Jasmine spoke feeling a tinge of guilt pierce her heart. Cinder raised a brow "what's with the long face child?" Cinder asked with a small smirk. Jasmine gulped and straightened her posture. "Nothing ma'am," Jasmine replied trying to hide the shakiness in her voice. Cinder raised a brow but didn't push the topic further.
"Is that all you needed ma'am?" Jasmine asked with her hands behind her back. "Yes that will be all," Cinder replied looking over the files of students Jasmine had given her.
Cinder stopped on a certain file her eye widening a little before a smirk grew on her lips. "Mei rose..." The black haired woman spoke with a sinister chuckle. The wolf and raven halfling flinched at her girlfriends name being spoken by the evil woman infront of her. Cinder's smirk grew "looks like a little rose has grown in my garden once more...heh heh...this time I'll make sure it stays out." Cinder spoke with a sinister look in her eye. Jasmine flinched and wanted to speak...to say something...but she already knew cinders plan. No words came from the dark haired girls mouth as the firey orange eyed woman walk to the edge of the building. She stopped "remember Jasmine. You are not in this school for love. You're in it to get internation for me. Don't forget that or... you'll be cut out." Cinder threatened her eyes flashing a scary, firey orange. Jasmine gulped and bowed "o-of course ma'am..." Jasmine stuttered. Cinder smirked and flew off leaving the winged girl alone. Jasmine sighed as tears burned her eyes and started to stream down her face. She broke down falling to her knees guilt, shame, and sadness flooding over her."I'm sorry...."
"I'm so sorry Mei...."
