OMG IM SO SORRY THE LAST TIME I UPDATED THIS WAS 2021!!!!!!!!!! I had some college stuff hapening so I haven't given too much attention to many of my books and I apologize. After all this time, to those who are still reading this, here's another chapter for you. This one goes out to  @idkimboredaftho for being a very dedicated reader. I'm sorry it took so long. I didn't mean to pull an Uncle Rick in mark of Athena I promise! Although I don't know if this is the update you all wanted XD.

Nico rushed immediately forwards and caught Will seconds before he hit the ground immediately setting him on his bed. Will was barely even conscious of what was happening. He was struggling to keep his eyes open and When focused enough to see the fear on Nico's face, he realized he must've looked a lot worse than he felt. The panic was setting in and when Nico spoke you could hear how he was barely holding back. "Will, do you know who's in here working the infirmary today? Do you think they would be able to help with whatever this is?" He nodded as he tried sitting up but realized he couldn't, his body was entirely giving up. He couldn't move an inch, and he struggled to find his voice. "Aelius? I th-think he's here today." Will started coughing and everyone was scared to see he was coughing up his own blood. When he recovered his head fell back against the pillow as he groaned. "God I'm such a hypocrite, I'm always yelling at you for over using your powers and look at me now." Nico kinda smiled and let out a small laugh, it was all he could do to stop himself from crying. "Hey, it's okay. As long as you're okay in the end it's going to be okay." He gently reached for Will's hand and he didn't even care who saw at the moment. All he cared about was Will being okay.

Aelius, who had been tending to a few other patients just noticed the situation and rushed over concern written clear on his face. "Will, tell me everything that happened so I can figure out how to help." Will nodded slightly pushing Nico away so Aelius could work but instead Nico just walked to the other side of the bed, not wanting to leave Will's side. While Will recapped everything Aelius had half his mind to check Nico out too when he was done with Will to make sure everything was ok with him too. "Honestly, in this situation I'd consult my best healer but he's kind of in a hospital bed right now." Will kind of laughed but that led to another coughing fit and when he was done Aelius offered him a sip of water which Will reluctantly took. Aelius sighed, this has never happened to Will before he didn't know how to treat it. But if it was anything like when the other campers got like this then all they could do was wait and watch to make sure Will didn't get worse. "You know as well as I do that in this situation I can't do much except make sure you have enough food and water. It just sounds like your battery's need recharging. The only worry I have is that you may need extra care because your powers run off of the sunlight and we don't have enough in here to be able to help heal you faster." Will slowly nodded and as Aelius walked away, he didn't know why but he started to cry. It just started, he wasn't even feeling sad or upset it just came out. Nico turned his attention to his boyfriend and put his hand on Will's cheek wiping the tears away.

"Shhh. I'm here, it's okay. You'll pull through, you children of Apollo almost always do." Nico's fingers stilled but his hand stayed where it was. "And, I'll stick right here by your side the entire time. You're always here when I'm in the hospital, and for once I'm not the patient, so I guess it's my turn to be the worried concerned boyfriend, huh?" Will managed a small laugh, which led to yet another coughing fit. Will didn't even look surprised by more blood pouring out as he coughed; he just continued letting it happen until it stopped. Nico was a little afraid because even when he was at empty battery this never happened to him. He took a shaky breath and he pulled Nico onto the bed with him, expecting him to complain cause he almost always did when Will tried to give him affection in public, but this time he only pulled himself closer into Will's side. "Neeks, as much as I want that and I do want it badly trust me. You can't be here all the time alright? I'm pretty sure that the doctor's note excuse will only work when you're the patient and there's capture the flag. I know how excited you are for it don't miss it just because I'm here. And Aelius is only guessing that I'm going to get better, we've never really had a case as bad as I am right now. You've never even been this close, and considering how many times you've had power related accidents that's a surprise. But I don't want you to have to be in here just watching me get worse, and worse. Because it will get worse before it gets better." Nico looked over at Hazel to make sure he was hearing it correctly and he was. "Will, I would rather be in here watching you get worse than be out there not knowing anything at all." Will watched as Nico readjusted himself so he could look at Will directly, and looking at Nico's face he knew Nico wasn't giving up the fight this time. "How bout you can stay with me tonight? Then you go back to training and everything tomorrow, and every night you can come back here to make sure I'm okay?" Nico nodded, it wasn't exactly what he wanted but he knew Will wasn't going to let him do more than that. Hazel and Annabeth bid their goodbyes and well wishes as Nico settled in with Will for the night. When they left they dragged Kayla out with them telling her how important it was that no one else knew how Will came to be this sick. Kayla was a gossiper even if she didn't always mean it so they were trying to tell her a story that if anyone asked seemed believable enough to not get any of them in trouble. But as Will and Nico started falling asleep Nico could feel Will struggling for every breath. He prayed to any of the gods listening to not let Will get worse. He prayed to Thantos to not take Will in his sleep, he prayed to Apollo to help his son get better, he prayed to anyone he thought could help Will not die.
