-3rd person P.O.V-

On a very peaceful day, the two Jackson twins were laying down with Y/N tucking them in.

"Night night, papa!"

"Goodnight brother..."

"Sweet dreams you two."

Y/N patted the two until something broke him out of his trance.

"Lad..."

Y/N heard a voice with a strong British accent coming next to him. The H/C haired boy turned his eyes to the source of the noise, not bothering to turn his head.

"I know you said your family is a bit desperate for money..."

The man was 5'6 and seemed to be in his late 60s with his light brown hair combed to the right. He was wearing a uniform that consists of a buttoned-up undershirt, brownish blazer, black tie, dark-grey trousers, and brown dress shoes. Y/N also seemed to be wearing similar clothing, but with an opened blazer and no tie.

The older man looked confused until he realized that the boy was most likely mute. Y/N looked like he forgot that not everyone knows sign language in the small town.

"Heh..."

The man tried not to seem as though he was being impolite but couldn't really respond properly to his new acquaintance. So, to avoid having his pride hurt-

"It's not a problem."

-He was going to try guessing what the boy meant by the situation.

"You can stay here for as long as you'd like."

Y/N looked at him with a mild face of surprise, but recollected himself with a guilty expression, confusing the old man.

"Is something the matter, lad?"

"Can I start working here?"

The older gentleman was silent after reading the sentence. He thought about this carefully but quickly.

'I do need help...but is the boy trustworthy enough to do this job?'

The old man knew all about the young man from other friends talking about a very helpful delinquent. He checked a few weeks ago about him and saw he was attending the worst school in Japan. He was a man to see more of the negative
